Chapter 159 - Ch.159 Death of Hanami

Nishimiya Momo wasn't the only one shocked—every student felt it.

Even Shikami paused its attack, staring at the terrifying clash in the distance.

Gold and black collided, stripping the world to just those colors.

But the golden domain dominated, steadily swallowing the black.

Hayashi stood in his black domain, hands outstretched, pouring out cursed energy—useless.

Hanami's domain was set to overtake his.

His growth was insane—how long had it been, and he was fighting special-grades like this? Impossible for anyone else.

Yet no matter how fast he grew, top-tier power still outmatched him. He wasn't Gojo Satoru.

Thinking of Gojo, Hayashi scanned the sky—still cloaked by the barrier, no sign of him.

Was the barrier too strong? No teachers had shown up. Without Hayashi here, it'd be a wipeout.

"Can't hold it!" Hayashi's face twisted as Hanami's domain fully engulfed his, the space shifting.

A golden sea of light spread out. Hayashi stood amid vibrant flowers—each unique.

It was like standing in a golden floral ocean—mesmerizing, awe-inspiring, humbling.

Heart Mirror and Brain Shield activated, blocking the strange floral effects. But helplessly, he was still trapped in Hanami's domain.

"I've seen your end—become nourishment here, blooming like an epiphyllum, brilliant for a moment," Hanami's voice echoed. Flowers lifted it into the air, looming over Hayashi.

Hayashi clapped his hands. No point wasting cursed energy to counter the domain—it barely worked. He had a better play.

"Simple Domain—Sun and Moon."

His full Amaterasu Tsukikage domain couldn't match Hanami's, but inside here, he could craft a simple domain to neutralize it.

It wouldn't dominate, but Hanami couldn't land a guaranteed hit either.

A black circle formed under Hayashi's feet—sun blazing ahead, moon glowing behind.

His Simple Domain.

"Bury him!" Hanami waved. The flower sea surged into radiant waves, crashing toward Hayashi.

Immense cursed pressure hit—breathing got tight. Crimson Armor snapped over him. The simple domain dulled Hanami's power, but the waves came from all sides—unavoidable.

Boom—Crash!

The floral tide swallowed him. Crimson Armor took the brunt. In Hanami's domain, it couldn't absorb cursed energy.

The damage piled higher than usual—but he could tank it. Not crushed yet.

Boom!

Hayashi burst from the sea, Time Blinking to Hanami, slamming an Azure Black Flash kick into its waist.

Bang!

The cursed force caved Hanami's midsection. Purple blood sprayed as it plummeted into the flower sea below.

Hayashi pressed the attack, blinking down, swinging another Azure Black Flash crit.

Boom!

"Azure Black Flash—Power Doubled!"

Boom!

Splurch!

Hanami spewed blood—a basin-sized hole punched through its gut. Its aura wilted fast.

"How… how can this be?" Hanami rasped, lying frail on the flower sea. In its domain, Hayashi moved this freely—with that much cursed energy?

By its math, Barb Croc's fight drained Hayashi near-dry. Then this long battle, their domains clashing—it suppressed him.

Post-domain, its radiant sea crushed him. Yet Hayashi showed no sign of running low.

Unfathomable. It'd calculated everything—thought it could finish him.

"You missed one thing. You burned tons of cursed energy—unfurling your domain was a stretch. I couldn't outlast you normally, but you didn't see it—my cursed energy's different. Yours slopes down after techniques. Mine? Always recovering. That's something you'd never guess."

Hayashi raised a hand slowly. He'd burned plenty too—honestly, just one more big move left.

Hanami was damn strong—pushed him to the brink. If Barb Croc and Hanami had teamed up, he'd be the dead one.

"Impossible," Hanami struggled. "Beyond Gojo Satoru, no one recovers cursed energy that fast—not even cursed spirits."

"You're right—it's logic. But logic doesn't apply to me. I'm special," Hayashi said. Thunder rumbled in his hand.

The flower sea withered—Hanami's end nearing. It was done for.

"You're a worthy foe, but we can't coexist. Goodbye, Hanami." Hayashi dropped his hand.

No mercy, no pity—just one final, maxed-out strike.

"Thunder Bagua! Power Doubled!"

In a daze, Hanami glimpsed a light—a path to its dream: a world without humans, plants thriving free.

Boom!!!

The Feast of Radiant Seas domain shattered. Hanami turned to ash under the onslaught, fading into the ether.

The barrier above cracked apart. A sunny sky turned dark—rain poured down in sheets.

"It's over?" Todo Aoi saw Hayashi slump weakly to the ground, Hanami gone. Hayashi won.

Everyone stared at the black-haired boy kneeling in the distance, rain soaking him, head bowed—expression hidden.
