Chapter 25 - Chapter 25 “Dragon Severing Slash!”

"Ding! You drew your sword, gaining 100100 experience points!"

"Ding! You activated Armament Haki once, gaining 100100 experience points!"

"…"

"Ding! Draw Slash has leveled up to lv3!"

"Ding! Armament Haki has leveled up to lv3!"

After the earlier shock, Luffy and the others grew serious and became more vigilant. Usopp took the helm, Luffy sat at the bow keeping an eye on the surroundings, and Nami studied the clouds and recorded the navigation log. Zoro, meanwhile, was sleeping, and Moonlight was training on the lookout.

The Kusanagi sword swung repeatedly, finally reaching level 3.

"Alright, lv3 sword skills are enough to cut through steel, and with Armament Haki, it can reach lv4 power!"

Moonlight murmured as he listened to the notifications.

"Conqueror's Haki is hard to train because having them around makes it easy to hurt the innocent. I should focus on training my sword skills instead."

Seeing his training progress, Moonlight smiled. In just a few days, he had reached lv3, a level strong enough to overwhelm top swordsmen. With Armament Haki, he could even spar with Mihawk for a few moves, proving the system's incredible power. But it was not enough! Moonlight shook his head and looked at the calm sea. He gripped the Kusanagi sword, and his sword skills burst forth!

"Dragon Severing Slash!"

Moonlight whispered, disappearing from the lookout post. The next moment, he appeared on the sea's surface, becoming one with his sword, moving rapidly like a blur, cutting through the waves violently. The sea roared as if a dragon was crossing, the sword energy tearing through the air with a piercing whistle that echoed across the waters.

"What is that?"

Nami, who was studying the map, looked up, startled.

"A tsunami? We need to get out of here!"

Usopp panicked, terrified.

"Wow! Amazing, Moonlight!"

Luffy recognized Moonlight from his movements and the sound of the roaring slash, shouting with joy.

"It's Moonlight! What kind of sword skill is that? He's moving on the sea!"

Zoro woke up in an instant, standing up in shock at the sight.

"What! That's Moonlight?"

Hearing Luffy's shout, Nami looked at the sea in disbelief.

"It really is Moonlight. He's not on the lookout anymore!"

Usopp checked the lookout and found it empty, stunned.

"Oh my god, Moonlight can run on the sea! That's incredible!"

Usopp was amazed.

"Oh no!"

At that moment, Moonlight realized his mistake. It was his first time using this sword technique, and the combination of man and sword made his speed uncontrollably fast. He was moving too quickly on the sea, unable to stop, and soon he disappeared from view.

"Uh? Where is Moonlight going?"

Luffy asked, puzzled.

"I don't know. Did he find something?"

Nami guessed.

"It could be enemies. We should run!"

Usopp suggested nervously.

"Enemies? Why run?"

Zoro was filled with fighting spirit.

"Alright, let's catch up!"

Luffy was excited, eager to follow.

"Usopp, turn left and chase after him!"

Nami nodded.

"Hey, hey, hey, you guys!"

Usopp was sweating but followed orders and steered toward Moonlight.

"An uncharted island, huh?"

Meanwhile, Moonlight finally managed to stop, but he found himself before a dense, uncharted island.

"This is ridiculous!"

Moonlight chuckled to himself. He decided to wait for Luffy and the others to catch up; they would surely follow him. Indeed, it wasn't long before the silhouette of the Going Merry appeared on the horizon, chasing after him.

"Moonlight, you're amazing! What was that move called? It was so cool!"

Luffy shouted excitedly from afar.

"This guy!"

Zoro's eyes narrowed.

"That was crazy! I've never seen a human swordsman move on water like that, except for the legendary Fishmen!"

Nami was stunned.

"Hey, Moonlight, did you see this island and lead us here?"

Usopp asked, staying on task.

"See it… Yeah, I spotted it from the lookout and came to check it out!"

Moonlight was about to explain, but hearing Usopp's question, he quickly went along with it. He couldn't admit that he'd lost control; it was too embarrassing!

"You're amazing, but by the way, I'm hungry. Is there anything to eat on this island?"

Luffy asked, rubbing his belly as he looked toward the island.

"There should be. It's an island, after all, so there's bound to be some fruit."

Usopp said, scanning the surroundings.

"This island is so small; I've never seen one like it!"

Nami measured the area and noted.

"Let's go check it out since we're here!"

Zoro agreed, and with no doubts about Moonlight's story, the group set foot on the island, led by Luffy.

Relieved, Moonlight followed them.

The island was indeed small, as Nami had observed. After a short walk, they saw the entire island, then headed into the forest to search for food.

"Ahhhh!"

"You ignorant fools! This is the domain of a god. If you take another step, you will incur divine wrath. Stop where you are!"

Suddenly, the forest around them began to shake violently as if a mighty beast was approaching, sending shivers down their spines.

"Ahhh! It's a god! Let's get out of here!"

Usopp screamed in terror.

"Great! A god? Come out and show yourself!"

Luffy was ecstatic, eager to see what this "god" looked like.

"Is there really a god in this world?"

Even Nami was scared, her face turning pale.
