Twenty-seven landing pods released twenty-seven squads of soldiers clad in light, futuristic armor. Because the exoskeleton suits fully covered the body, it was difficult to determine whether they were piloted by real humans or were actually autonomous robotic soldiers.

However, judging by their synchronized, perfectly uniform movements, it was far more likely that these were machines rather than manned units.

'Could it be that this new world, which managed a draw with the Abyss World, is actually the fabled Mechanoid Empire?'

'What kind of strange dungeon instance have we stumbled into?'

Harry's brows furrowed tightly. They had long experienced firsthand the Abyss World's restraining effect on the magical world. If not for the World Will summoning a group of awakened mages with exceptionally high anti-magic absorption traits, their world would have already fallen—ordinary mages simply couldn't hold the line.

But these mechanoids, though also users of magic power, seemed completely unaffected by demonic interference. Their hybrid energy cannons, merging magical and technological force, fired without hesitation—blasting a clean, unhealed hole through a mountain-sized demon god. These same weapons could also crush magical interference over the casters themselves; even launched spells were detonated mid-air like fireworks.

Yet such EMP-like magical disruption had minimal effect on top-tier casters like Dumbledore. Their exceptional command over magic gave their spells far greater stability than the average wizard. Even when facing magical interference that mimicked a "Final Curse Protocol," their spells could still retain over 80% of their destructive potential.

The Azure Dragon, born from condensed thought-energy, coiled briefly in the sky before plunging downward at Yin Yue's command!

A fresh wave of magical interference spread outward—but the dragon's thunderous roar dispersed and destroyed it completely. The light-blue shields projected by the twenty-seven mechanoid squads shimmered with a ghostly glow as countless spark-like arcs danced in the ionized air, twitching like tiny electric tentacles.

It looked just like a radiant ball of embroidered silk—and at that moment, the Azure Dragon smashed straight into this dazzling sphere!

The earth-shattering explosion everyone expected did not occur. However, a blinding flash and terrifying energy pulse erupted all at once!

Centered around that electric sphere, the ground within a one-kilometer radius was shattered and flattened. In less than fifteen seconds, the terrain sank nearly thirty meters, forming an enormous crater caved inward. The hundreds-of-meters-long Azure Dragon was completely engulfed by the electric sphere—yet that overwhelming power was somehow perfectly absorbed by the strange defensive force field.

Szzzzzzt—

Though the sound wasn't audible, observers could see jets of white coolant spraying from the mechanoid soldiers' chests. A silver-white metallic block, roughly the size of a candy bar, was ejected—most likely an internal energy battery. Having just withstood the Azure Dragon's assault, the internal reserves had been completely drained.

But each mechanoid's chest was fitted with two symmetrical rows of twelve batteries—meaning they could still withstand this level of attack at least twenty-three more times. And that's without considering potential backup power sources. After all, nine spatial beacon towers—formed from reconfigured landing pods—still stood behind them.

Before the storm had even fully cleared, a sharp gleam flashed in Yin Yue's eyes as he stood amidst the turbulent air. The transparent pendant hanging at his waist suddenly shattered. A colossal wave of magical energy rippled through the heavens, and within just a few breaths, the vanished Azure Dragon reappeared at his feet!

Nine dragons now coiled together in the sky—a sight far more awe-inspiring than before, their presence ten times mightier.

Without a moment's hesitation, Yin Yue raised a hand and pointed forward. Instantly, the nine Azure Dragons surged downward with thunderous force. Every mechanical construct had a peak limit it could endure; the force field that easily dissipated the power of one dragon could not hope to withstand ten times that might.

Perhaps the mechanoid soldiers had calculated that this level of force was beyond their capability. The spatial beacon they had been defending powered down. Its extinguished lights signaled the activation of a blue defensive field—a shield strong enough to resist the chaotic turbulence within spatial tunnels.

This defense, dozens of meters thick, formed a flawless sphere without any blind spots. The only option was a frontal assault.

In the blinding flash that followed, all the energy unleashed by the nine Azure Dragons was fully absorbed. Not even a ripple escaped.

The only visible effect was that the originally fifty-meter-thick force field had been shaved down by a fifth.

This was a defensive barrier that inspired utter despair.

An unknown mechanoid force capable of engaging in direct combat with the Abyss World, even gaining the upper hand to some degree, demonstrated a terrifying technological advantage. This caused even the watching wizards to feel a deep sense of despondency.

Once the spatial coordinates were anchored, no one knew when this mechanoid faction—now possessing interstellar warfare capabilities—might cross the endless void and arrive beyond their blue planet.

With hostile intent, they certainly wouldn't feel any compassion toward the 'humans' here. Would a mechanoid have any compassion?

It seemed highly unlikely.

"Senior Brother!"

A familiar voice rang out in Harry's ears as Li Jiannan, having just expended nearly all his magical energy to clear the demon army, turned toward the sound.

"Oh, you're here. Yes, you should be here."

Li Jiannan was momentarily taken aback. Upon seeing Harry, a smile appeared on his face. "You've sensed it too, haven't you, Harry? The World Will has granted us access. It's not much, and it's not complete, but we can finally take that final step."

"Too bad I don't have your family heirloom."

Harry bared his teeth. A large part of Li Jiannan's strength came from his sword case, an artifact known to be a unique treasure among the awakened mages. The Qinglian Sword Immortal, during the peak of the awakened mages, had been one of the top figures. Though he did not participate in the demon god purge, he single-handedly held back the countless demons pouring into the passage during the purge period. Eventually, he died of exhaustion at the Sword Gate.

"Taking all this in has been exhausting."

Harry cracked his joints, his Animagus alchemical armor now fully integrated with his magic. Or rather, the now-advanced awakened mage energy had completed the assimilation of the alchemical armor in a very short time. The runes inscribed by awakened mages had fused completely with the armor.

"A limited, invincible turtle shell, huh?"

Harry smirked, looking at the defensive field that had easily withstood the combined black-red hellfire unleashed by Dumbledore and Grindelwald. The four top-tier wizards had gone all out, but it would take some time to break through the barrier. Right now, what was needed most was time.

"Help me make a hole. I just gained control of the awakened mage magic, but my control over it isn't perfect yet. These guys aren't idiots. After one mistake, they might have a countermeasure. A one-hit kill would be best."

"You plan to go inside?"

Li Jiannan raised an eyebrow slightly. "There's indeed strong spatial interference. This shield seems specially tailored to counteract that. I don't have confidence that I can get in myself."

"That's why I need you to open a hole for me." Harry nodded seriously. "The strongest fortresses are often breached from the inside, aren't they?"

"Be careful, don't die. Our era is just beginning." Li Jiannan took a deep breath and stood up. His magic had somewhat recovered. Unlike Harry, who could instantly regenerate magic with a single breath thanks to his pseudo-awakened mage physique, Li Jiannan lacked such an ability. Additionally, the Abyss was a region where natural magic was severely depleted. Beneath him were piles of empty top-tier magical crystals, one of the most extravagant consumables for Abyssal magic recovery.

A sharp metallic sound rang out as Li Jiannan's sword case behind him vibrated, releasing thousands of flying swords.

He pointed his sword forward and shouted, "Swords, come!"

"Go!"

Thousands of streaking lights converged into one, slicing through the fading remnants of seven spatial beacon towers and shattering the impenetrable barrier they had raised. The powerful defense field was pierced, and a small portal was created.

With one sword, the Heaven's Gate opened!
