Chapter 8 - Chapter 8 [Prisoner's Dilemma] The Deeply Hidden Origami Girl

Mouse had clearly picked someone not easy to deal with.

He hadn't even been in the room for five minutes before Origami came storming out, cursing.

"Damn it, what kind of trash tries to flirt with me? Go f*** yourself, and take a good look in the mirror!"

Fuming, Origami arrived in the living room and saw Yu Tu scribbling on the rule-covered wall.

"Hey, noob, what are you doing? You dare to mess with the rules inside the Divine Cage Space? You'll be wiped out instantly!"

Yu Tu awkwardly wiped his hands. "I was just curious... is this stuff really written in blood?"

Origami glanced at the countdown not far behind Yu Tu. Of the four-hour countdown, only one hour remained.

Being good-looking really has its perks. Just moments ago, Origami had been cursing out Mouse, but now she didn't mind cozying up next to Yu Tu at all.

Looking at the somewhat smudged writing on the wall, a smile tugged at Origami's lips, as if she saw through Yu Tu's thoughts.

From the corner of his eye, Yu Tu snuck a glance. To be honest, Origami had really nice skin, just a bit... small in some places.

"You're pretty curious. Someone once tried the same thing—wiped off the rules out of curiosity. Their head didn't last long after that."

"Looks like I got lucky. Still got my head."

"Time's almost up. Think your luck will hold?"

"Don't know. Leaving it to fate."

"Leaving it to fate? Noob, that just means you're waiting to die. What do you say—want to have a chat before you go?"

Yu Tu was a bit surprised, then smiled, "Wouldn't say no."

Origami shot a disdainful glance toward the room with a dead body and headed toward her original room. Yu Tu quickly followed.

"You, get out!"

Seeing Origami acting all bossy, Mouse was a bit pissed. "Damn it, I thought you were all high and mighty. Turns out you've got your eyes on this pretty boy and want me to move?"

"Scram!"

Mouse looked like he was getting seriously pissed, so Yu Tu quickly stepped in, "Mouse, bro, do me a favor, give us some space."

Mouse went back to his pervy self and nodded, "Haha, since you asked, of course. But bro, take it easy. Don't be fooled by how skinny she looks—she might be wild."

Origami glared coldly at Mouse, who shot her a glare right back.

Yu Tu pushed Mouse out and shut the door.

Origami sat on a chair by the window, its heavy curtains drawn tight.

"Do you know what's outside the curtain?"

Yu Tu hadn't paid attention before, but now that Origami asked, he was curious. "What?"

Origami lifted a corner of the curtain. Yu Tu peered out through the gap—and saw a sea of blood!

"See that? Don't let this friendly atmosphere fool you. Outside is a sea of blood. One misstep and your own blood will be added to it. You still think the people in here are friendly?"

Yu Tu went silent.

Origami continued, "They've all been pretty nice to you, right? Heh, that's 'cause they want you dead."

Yu Tu wiped the smirk off his face and asked seriously, "What about you?"

"I don't want to die."

"So?"

"I want to talk. About what you did to the wall."

Yu Tu frowned, "Not much to talk about. I was just curious, so I rubbed it a bit."

"Let me introduce myself. I have a talent—I can share the vision of my shadow. When my shadow landed on the wall, I saw something else. I think you saw it too, didn't you?"

Seeing Origami's knowing smile, Yu Tu relaxed his frown. Originally, he was planning to go find Bunny Ears, but now he realized—there's someone even smarter here.

"Let me introduce myself too. After the first game, I also gained a talent. I can zoom in on things I see. I carefully examined the rules on the wall and did find something extra. Just not sure if what we saw was the same."

Origami gave Yu Tu an approving look and smiled faintly. "Then let's say it together?"

Yu Tu smiled back. The two of them spoke in unison: "11!"

Origami glanced toward the living room and said, "Looks like we saw the same thing. When my shadow hit the wall, I noticed a deep blood smear next to the '1.' Looking closer, there was a tiny '1' behind it."

Yu Tu added, "I was curious too. Normally, these games wouldn't have unsolvable rules. I used my ability and went over the wall word by word—I found that hidden '1.' So the real rule is, if both people choose 'peace,' the score is 11."

"Alright, tell me—what's your plan?"

Yu Tu didn't hesitate, "Cooperate with Bunny Ears. She gets first, I stay alive."

"Oh? You're not worried she'll lie to you?"

"Based on my plan, she has to choose 'peace' with me the first time. If not, I'll expose the 11-point peace rule. Since she's already scored a 10, she'll lose her chance to win."

"Even if you don't reveal it, what if others just keep choosing 'peace' and also get 11 points?"

Yu Tu smiled confidently, "I don't think anyone would dare choose peace under this rule. Even if Star succeeds once with some trick, would they tell others? At most, a couple of people might tie for first."

"Then how do you convince Bunny Ears others will believe your 11-point claim?"

"If she makes me lose 10 points once, I'll go to someone else and keep choosing peace to give them points. If I do it twice, others will believe in the peace rule too. Then Bunny Ears loses her edge."

"And how do you make sure she believes you'll choose 'peace' too?"

Yu Tu gave the living room a knowing glance. "I don't need to prove anything. She must have her ways. I doubt her 'sleeping' is just sleeping. There's got to be something more to it."

"You're not worried Bunny Ears doesn't actually care about winning?"

"She slept with almost everyone, even Mouse. If it's not for first place, wouldn't that be a waste?"

Origami giggled behind her hand, "So you were waiting for her to sleep with you—then make her choose peace first. That way, whatever she does next, at least you survive."

"Too bad, you intercepted her."

"So, how should I make it up to you?"

Yu Tu glanced at a shadow flitting across the door gap and replied, "Then you'll have to take Bunny's place. We both know the peace score is 11; no need for more explaining."

"You're not afraid I'll trick you—or you'll trick me?"

"Betrayal helps no one. Only cooperation gives a shot at first place. Even if we tie for first, it's way better than any other ranking. If either of us betrays, we both lose that chance."

Origami stood up from the chair and half-lounged on the bed. "Exactly. Seven people each get at most five turns. One person's already dead. Divided into three teams, there's no need for betrayal—it only hurts us."

Yu Tu glanced at her long legs crossed on the bed and swallowed hard. That damn Bunny's loud moans had already riled him up.

He didn't hesitate anymore and placed his hand on Origami's leg. "You've compensated me for the points... now for the other thing."

Origami gave a sultry smile, lifting his shirt as she teased, "Oh? What other thing?"

"The whole 'Bunny sleeps with me' thing. Looks like she won't get the chance now."

Origami pulled off his shirt and placed his hand on her chest. "Hehe, whatever you lost, I'll make up for it. So? Am I enough?"

Yu Tu didn't hold back, "Some parts are a little small, but in other ways—way better than that Bunny. Honestly, it feels like a win!"

"Take another look. Still think I'm small?"

Yu Tu undid everything she wore. Damn—definitely not small. This little minx had been hiding a lot…
