"You know, Ellen, you need to learn to respect other people's privacy," I say, flying over the city and looking at Ellen, who has a new piece of equipment specifically made to kill me.
"Haha, I don't think you'll need that [Eclipse] after all, because soon you won't be able to do anything anymore," she says arrogantly, drawing a relatively large sword. She seems eager to fight me.
I wanted to have continued talking to Shiori, but I noticed Ellen's approach and had to leave with the excuse of giving her time, I hope this doesn't affect our relationship at all.
'So this is the C.H.I.M.E.R.A.' Ellen's "Realizer" is a new weapon. Nibelcole gave me information about this new weapon, which started being researched and manufactured 5 years ago during the great fire.
More precisely, I was the cause of the research for this weapon, and after I appeared as Shinigami and had several appearances, the project accelerated even further, and now this weapon is ready.
These acronyms stand for [Celestial Harmonizer & Integrated Multi-Energy Resonance Armament] it's basically an enhanced Realizer specifically made to face powerful spirits like me, Kurumi, or Mukuro.
Being essentially a weapon I have no knowledge of, at the moment the spatial disturbance signal went off, so I'm alone with Ellen for a duel, but I notice DEM members approaching.
"Ellen, are you so cowardly that you need help to try to face me?" I insult her to irritate her, but she just stares at me without caring, it seems she won't be impulsive.
"Don't worry, Eclipse, they won't get involved, I alone am enough to defeat you," Ellen says as her Realizer makes a strange sound, and she charges at me.
"You're absolutely right, Ellen, they'll be too busy," I summon Beelzebub, and soon the leaves detach, and several Nibelcoles advance towards the DEM people while I charge at Ellen with Nathanael.
"..." My blade collides with hers, generating a slight shockwave. This is surprising, with my current strength, a Realizer would never withstand exchanging blows against me.
But the C.H.I.M.E.R.A. can handle my attacks and compete with them. It's truly a state-of-the-art weapon.
"May I know why you're interested in Shiori? She's just a relatively common girl," I question while we compete in strength, trying to push each other.
"Just testing new things, I don't think you need to know that," Ellen responds evasively, while tilting the blade, changing the direction of my scythe, and moving her sword towards my neck.
But at the exact moment, I reverse the position, and she moves the blade the wrong way, while I kick her hard, pushing her slightly.
'With my current strength, this kick would shatter a Realizer, and yet she endured it without using a territory.' The technology of this new Realizer customized for Ellen is incredible.
Moreover, it shows how my presence changes the world, as this armament should not exist, but my existence created it.
"..." She and I advance, exchanging blows quickly. For now, it's balanced my blows are stronger, but I have less combat experience, which naturally leaves a certain balance.
I can see how my little "army" of Nibelcoles fights against the DEM, which has brought several people, and some ships have started arriving due to the fight against Ellen, which probably wasn't the plan since she was after Shiori.
"Don't get distracted like that," Ellen says while holding her sword with one hand, giving a slight spin and elbowing me while blocking the pressure of my scythe with just one hand.
Due to the blow, I lose position and receive an upward kick that she performs by quickly spinning, so I end up moving away to regain some control.
"!!!" Soon, dozens of small missiles are launched from her Realizer, all with impressive speed, but I summon Beelzebub again and use several papers to make the missiles explode.
"...Your little allies seem to be losing," Ellen says arrogantly, while I see the DEM giving trouble to the Nibelcoles, but individual Nibelcoles are weak, so it's no surprise.
"Yes, perhaps they are," I say without much interest. The Nibelcoles are "disposable" they're like a super collective mind connected to me, the death of one doesn't make a difference, as long as I remain alive.
As far as I know, only Shido's ability to seal spirits could kill them permanently, which makes Shido a natural enemy, since his kisses seal spiritual powers.
But now that Shido is Shiori, this is not a concern at all.
"If you're so interested in my 'daughter,' then how about we change the dynamics of this," I throw my angel, which spins at high speed like a saw. Ellen defends, but the blade keeps spinning while I advance against her with the Belial I summon.
I use reversal to reduce the environmental resistance to the capabilities of her Realizer, and soon I strike with Belial as if it were a baseball bat. The force was such that she was thrown against the buildings while I recover Nathanael and hand it to one of the hidden Nibelcoles nearby.
"Can I really use your weapon, dad?!" Nibelcole asks excitedly, like a teenager who just got permission to use her father's car.
"Do as much damage as you want. Besides, it's loaded with 3 bursts of Reiryoku," She'll know how to use it, so I focus my attention back on Ellen as I advance with speed.
I just need to scratch her with Belial, and the victory will be mine, but hurting her directly may not be that easy. She also advances towards me, firing missiles and showing that she used her territory to not take any damage.
"Stopped, did you? Is it heavy?" Ellen says, making a cut with her sword, breaking through my barrier and injuring me slightly on the neck. Suddenly, I stopped when the weight increased a lot.
'So this new Realizer can create territories with strong gravitational fields.' This is not a problem now that I know this. When she approaches me again and tries to use the same trick, I use reversal, and the reverse pressure makes the territory break.
Taking advantage of her surprise, I strike her forcefully with Belial, but as an experienced fighter, she defends by redirecting the blade. As Belial is a long scythe, redirecting it is not that difficult.
"Ellen, you're really quite strong," I praise her while flying back and increasing the distance between us.
"Naturally! I'm not the strongest witch of humanity for nothing, Eclipse, although you're not quite what I expected. Where's that big armament?" She speaks, trying to provoke me to use my fallen angel, but I won't use such a costly and unwieldy armament.
The blade and handle are too large, and the Reiryoku cost is enormous. It only pays off if my enemy is much stronger than me.
"It won't be necessary," I say while starting to spin the Belial, forming a saw and using high Reiryoku control and reversal, I keep the scythe spinning even without holding it, while controlling the direction with my hand.
I begin to move my hand, and the scythe advances towards Ellen, who is briefly surprised, but defends herself. However, without anyone holding it, the freedom became much greater.
I make it go from one side to the other with great speed, making it difficult for Ellen's defensive capabilities. Meanwhile, I see a large Reiryoku burst destroy 3 DEM ships, showing that the Nibelcoles did a good job.
"You're being pressured, strongest witch," I say sarcastically while increasing the speed and unpredictable movements, keeping Ellen on the defensive. Her territory even resists a little, but the spinning motion quickly surpasses all the territories.
"...What a bold move." I think I understand the name of this Realizer it's like a combination of various maximized weapons. Ellen has just activated a cannon like those on the DEM ship.
A normal Realizer would never be able to have such an energy cannon attached, but it seems the C.H.I.M.E.R.A can do it without any problems.
"..." She fires the energy beam, and I change the direction, but at the same time the shot "jumps" spatially, similar to what Goetia did, and the shot appears very close to me.
I launch a Reiryoku burst with my hands, briefly competing until I get out of the attack area. I advance upwards, dodging the powerful blow.
"..." But at the same moment, Ellen appears behind me as if she had teleported, and when I feel the blade touch my back, I use the enhanced perception of Nathanael and manage to have more time to think.
"..."
'Tsk, what a move.' I don't know everything this new Realizer can do and was caught by surprise.
'I should be able to protect with one of the Nibelcoles.' I think of the solution quickly. I have several Beelzebub pages hidden in my clothes, and I quickly let the leaf activate.
While trying to evade, everything happens extremely fast, and while Nibelcole tries to hold the blade, I try to get out of range, and in a fraction of seconds, I manage to deviate with just a cut on the stomach.
The Nibelcole, however, has the blade piercing its body as its hands try to hold it, and it soon disintegrates into a torn page.
"Tsk, not bad, Eclipse," she says arrogantly.
"I say the same to you, Ellen," and I return the same tone.
