Chapter 10 - Chapter 10

The leather of the couch felt cool against my bare legs. Haiden sat across from me, his hazel eyes raking over my body like a slow, deliberate caress. It made my skin prickle. "He should be back around midnight," he said, crossing one leg over the other with a casual grace that belied the tension in the air. He took a sip of his whiskey, the ice clinking softly against the glass.

I nodded, glancing at him again. Ace had never mentioned having siblings other than Alice, let alone one this…intense. "So…you're Ace's stepbrother?" I asked, trying to fill the silence and glean some information.

"Yeah, his older stepbrother. Four years older than him." He swirled the amber liquid in his glass. My cheeks heated. There was something about the way his hand moved, so precise and controlled, that sparked a forbidden heat within me. Thoughts of what else he could do with those hands, those long fingers…I coughed, clearing my throat. "Well, it's nice to meet you, Haiden…" I loved the way his name felt rolling off my tongue.

"Nice to meet you too." He nodded, his gaze locking onto mine, searching. It felt like he was trying to decipher some hidden truth etched on my face. "So, are you and Ace…together? Or?" He asked, the question slicing through the thick, unspoken tension between us.

I stammered slightly, caught off guard. "Oh, uh, no. We're just…friends." I tried to sound nonchalant, even though the truth was a messy tangle of confusing emotions. We weren't dating, not even close. After one night of passion he invites me over to his house and now I am starting to think it was a mistake.

Haiden hummed in response, his expression unreadable. "So, what brings you here? He doesn't exactly bring girls back unless they're here for a quick…encounter. So, what's different about you?" The sharpness of his words stung.

I knew Ace had a reputation, but hearing it laid bare like that made my stomach clench. "Oh, uh, well, we…we did have relations, and then he brought me here…" My voice trailed off, a wave of insecurity washing over me. Was I just another notch on his bedpost? It was so foolish of me to believe that we would be more than what we were and now I am regretting my actions.

Haiden's eyes flickered with something that looked like anger, a flash of raw intensity. It seemed like he disapproved of his brother's behavior even more than I did. He sighed, the harshness in his gaze softening slightly. "You can stay in the guest room. Get some rest." There was a hint of guilt in his voice, a flicker of something akin to pain.

I nodded, relieved. We both stood, and he led me upstairs, down a long hallway to a door near the end. As I stepped inside, my breath hitched. The room was immaculate, decorated with elegant simplicity. Everything was perfectly in its place, a serene oasis of calm. "Wow…" I breathed. It felt like a fairytale.

Haiden gave a playful smile. "I'm glad you like it." He gestured around the room. I managed a weak smile, then sat on the edge of the bed, sinking into the plush mattress.

"There are clothes in the bathroom for you if you need them," he said, his hand hovering over the doorknob. Then, with a final lingering glance, he closed the door.

I walked into the bathroom, turning on the shower. The hot water cascaded over my skin, washing away the grime of the day and the anxiety that had been building inside me. It felt incredible. I had barely had time to myself lately, so I was grateful for this moment of solitude.

Wrapped in a towel, I returned to the bedroom. As I reached for the clothes Haiden provided, my phone buzzed. A text message from my mom. A cold knot formed in my stomach. We hadn't spoken in years. Why now?

I opened the message, bracing myself. "Hey sweetie, just wanted to say I love you and, uh, I need $4,000 for a game." I groaned, the familiar disappointment settling like a lead weight. It was always about the money with her. That was the whole reason we were estranged.

Her addiction always came first, always trumped everything else, including me. I still remembered the Christmas when she took the money my dad had given me and blew it on some stupid game. I was only nine years old, robbed of my innocence by the woman who was supposed to love me unconditionally. I sighed, trying to tamp down the rising anger. Closing the message, I left her on read.

I changed into the soft clothes, a pair of oversized sweatpants and a t-shirt, and crawled into bed. The sheets were heavenly, enveloping me in a cocoon of warmth and comfort.

Damn, this was more comfortable than my own bed. So soft, so warm. I drifted off to sleep, the day's events swirling in my mind.

Hours later, a strange sensation stirred me from my slumber. A tingling, a throbbing… between my legs. I squirmed, a soft moan escaping my lips. "Tan dulce, mi amor." (So sweet, my love.) A voice whispered, sending a shiver down my spine.

I opened my eyes, my heart pounding. The dim light wasn't enough to make out features, but I could feel the heat radiating off the figure between my legs. I look down seeing Haiden eating and licking my pussy while leaving bruises on my thighs as he spreads my legs wider giving him more access to my wetness. His movements speed up more his tongue flicking around more aggressive causing strained moans coming from my mouth.

"Haiden yes yes yes!" I scream as I was close to my orgasm. "Eso es todo nena semen para mí, muéstrame lo desesperado que estás por correrte en mi puta lengua amor" (That's it baby cum for me, show me how desperate you are to cum on my fucking tongue love) He says as he digs his tongue further in me pushing me to my edge making me release a pulsing orgasm on his tongue, earning a groan from him as he licks and sucks my pussy clean bringing me to my breaking point from the sensation and sensitivity I felt.

He came up from my pussy his eyes meeting mine as he pulls me close bringing our faces close enough to touch with just little space and he-I woke with a gasp, my heart hammering against my ribs. A dream? A sex dream? And about Ace's stepbrother? What was happening to me?

Internal panic threatened to engulf me, and as if things couldn't get any more complicated, there was a knock on the door. My body tensed, every muscle coiled with anticipation and a strange, undeniable desire. I took a deep breath and pulled the door open.

Standing in the doorway was…
