But at this moment, Jean Grey's self-awareness exploded!
"Get out of my body—NOW!" she roared, rejecting the Phoenix Force completely.
The moment she made this decision, the Phoenix Force's power plummeted.
Originally, it could use Jean's willpower to resist the Fairy Power's absorption.
But the instant Jean Grey mentally rejected it, the Phoenix Force lost its anchor. It could no longer resist.
This was why these cosmic forces desperately sought the perfect host—because in the end, it was always the power that needed the host, not the other way around.
Sensing the situation spiraling out of control, the Phoenix Force panicked and desperately fought Jean Grey for dominance over her mind.
But as the struggle intensified, it realized something was horribly wrong.

This was supposed to be a battle between Fairy Power and Luo Bai.
How did it turn into a fight between me and Jean Grey?!

As soon as it swallowed the Phoenix Force, the Fairy Power erupted with joy.
Then, in Luo Bai's mind, the Fairy Power's voice rang out in a gleeful, mocking tone:

"You tricked me into fighting my host, which led to me getting sealed..."
"But fate is unpredictable! Now it's your turn to suffer!"
"I couldn't control my host."
"If you think you can control Luo Bai, I'd love to see you try!"
"The so-called all-powerful Phoenix Force is nothing but a dead bird flapping its mouth. In a real fight, you're nothing!"

He sighed helplessly, rubbing his temples before muttering,
