Once upon a time, Silver Surfer was just like any other sentient being, capable of emotions and compassion.
His real name was Norrin Radd, and he had once been an astronomer on a distant planet in the Milky Way.
Then, one fateful day, Galactus—the Devourer of Worlds—arrived and declared that his planet had been chosen as its next meal.
To save his home, Norrin Radd made a deal with Galactus, pledging eternal servitude in exchange for his planet's safety.
Thus, Galactus granted him immense cosmic power—but at a cost. His memories were erased, his emotions stripped away, and he became what he is now…
A mere pawn. A soulless herald who followed Galactus' will without question.
Because of this, he paid no heed to Luo Bai's warning.

Before he could regain his senses, Luo Bai appeared above him, looking down with a smirk.
"You little punk—trying to land a sneak attack?" Luo Bai scoffed.
Silver Surfer said nothing. Instead, his gaze shifted toward his fallen board.
Seeing this, Luo Bai immediately clenched his fists.
The moment he did, golden Phoenix Flames erupted around them.
He didn't give Silver Surfer a chance to reach his board.

With his flaming fist, Luo Bai struck Silver Surfer's face—hard.
BOOM!
Another violent shockwave tore through the dimensional space.
When the dust settled, Silver Surfer lay motionless on the ground—only his eyes able to move.
Half of his face had been scorched black by the Phoenix Flames, his once-polished silver skin now charred and ruined.
He looked like a burnt-out machine.
Luo Bai folded his arms and gave another warning:
"Invading Earth is not a wise decision. Before you think about serving Galactus, you should first consider—
Do you even have the strength to defeat me, the Sorcerer Supreme of this world?"
For a moment, he thought that two punches would be enough to knock some sense into Silver Surfer.
But he had underestimated how deeply Galactus had bound this being to his will.
Rather than surrender, Silver Surfer's fighting spirit burned even brighter.
In an instant, cosmic energy surged into his body.
And before Luo Bai's eyes, the flesh that had been charred by Phoenix Flames—
Regenerated at an unbelievable speed.
Within seconds, he was completely restored.
With a powerful leap, he reclaimed his silver board.
Then, lifting his board with both hands—

Watching Silver Surfer accelerate toward the exit of his dimension, Luo Bai furrowed his brows.
Then, with a mere thought, he unleashed his magic—directly altering reality and expanding the universe into his own domain.
He raised his hand, and in an instant, countless planets materialized within the dimension, hurtling toward Silver Surfer like celestial missiles.
However, Silver Surfer didn't falter.
With a flick of his board, he smashed through one planet after another, effortlessly breaking them apart as he surged forward.
For what felt like an eternity, he sped through the ever-expanding dimension at light speed, convinced that he would soon escape Luo Bai's territory.
But no matter how fast he accelerated—
He couldn't break free.
Something was wrong.
No matter how much speed he gained, he remained trapped within Luo Bai's space.
A rare hint of frustration flickered in his silver eyes.
Then, in anger, he gathered the power of the cosmos itself—preparing a full-force counterattack.
Blinding silver energy erupted from his body, spreading like a tidal wave through the entire dimension.
He wasn't just trying to destroy Luo Bai—

The next second, an enormous golden phoenix spread its wings and soared into the sky behind Luo Bai.
The moment the fiery entity emerged, Phoenix Flames erupted in every direction, engulfing the entire dimension in its radiant inferno.
A power so immense that even the universe itself seemed to hold its breath.
Everything—
Fell into absolute silence.
And when the flames finally subsided…
The battlefield returned to normal.
The destruction had vanished, the chaotic space was still, and the energy that had once threatened to tear reality apart was gone—
As if none of it had ever happened.
Lying motionless on the ground, Silver Surfer's silver body was dim, his cosmic energy weakened.
Luo Bai stood before him, his expression calm yet unyielding.
"Do you still wish to continue?" Luo Bai asked.
For the first time, Silver Surfer responded—not with speech, but with telepathy.
"Earth… is a planet meant to be consumed."
Luo Bai sneered. "How loyal you are."
Then his voice turned colder. "Since I can't persuade you… I'll just have to save you instead."
With that, Luo Bai reached out and placed a hand on Silver Surfer's head.
A sudden shift occurred.
Silver Surfer, who had intended to heal himself using the Power Cosmic, suddenly felt something terribly wrong.
The cosmic energy within him—
Was vanishing.
No—
It was being absorbed.
Before he could react, before he could even resist—
The Power Cosmic was completely drained from his body.
