Enterprise Strike Group
Enterprise and the entire Carrier Strike Group is listening and watching at the two American Vessels making a first contact, as Lucas opens a communication line with the Unknown Naval Vessels. Enterprise is seated at the chair inside the CIC of her ship listening to the conversation; like her, everyone is in anticipation of a peaceful interaction with the unknown.
Laffey is getting bored at the video feed. "Fight already!" She's quite literally bored sitting at the CIC Room of her Ship listening to Lucas's repeated calls.
Everyone yells, "Laffey...!"
"Jesus Christ, Laffey. We're here making a first contact with unknown beings." Bunker Hill said, brows furrowing.
"Is she always in DEFCON Fuck or something?!" Essex exclaims.
"I don't know what kind of System you Americans place on her... are you sure she's not missing any screws in her head?" Belfast said it, as she sips her tea at her Ship's bridge.
"I don't know either. DARPA and DOD have to do something with it, somehow." Enterprise replies.
"Laffey. We are in another world; starting a firefight with the unknown is not optional." She said at the comms.
"Oh, great. I'm stuck with a bloodthirsty murderous 'Bunny'. What could possibly go wrong?" Maya mutters to herself.
*My-My, I did not expect you to be a male; maybe capturing you would be more useful than killing you two.*
Everyone's attention shifted to the video feed from the drone that is loitering above the Unknown Vessels. This statement alone coming from a woman's threatening voice gives everyone and Enterprise more "red flags."
As they listen to the conversation, they then notice that the communication from the Destroyer and Frigate that they sent was cut off and being jammed. The drone feed they were watching starts glitching from the jamming of the Unknown Naval Vessels.
"That's a red flag." Belfast commented.
"This is bad... their comms are being jammed." Bunker Hill said.
"What are our orders, Ma'am?!" Essex asks.
"Maybe a firefight is... optional..." Laffey said.
Enterprise is still pondering about her next move and the fallout of this mess; she and her Strike Group were in another world. Picking a fight with locals of this world would not be on her list. She took a minute to make a decision that could alter their destiny; she then gives orders to the Strike Group.
"Warning Red, Weapons tight, and I want all weapons loaded."
"Wait, what?" Essex said in surprise.
"You heard me!" Enterprise shouted.
Everyone: "Yes, Ma'am."
*General Quarters, General Quarters. Man your battle station, Man your battle station.*
Onboard the USS Enterprise Flight Deck, Manjuus on deck are loading the F/A-18 Super Hornet Block III with Anti-Ship Missiles, like AGM-158c Long Range Anti-Ship Missile (LRSAM) and Bombs like Quicksink Bombs.
( Image )
The Shooter (Manjuu with Yellow Jersey) waves its hands, as the front landing gear connects with the EMALS Shuttle. With the signal of the shooting hands, the F/A-18 Hornets launch at the deck of the Super Carrier, one at a time.
As the Hornets get airborne, they race towards the location of the American Destroyer and Frigate. The jets hit their afterburners, as they are in a race against time.
(The last F/A-18 Super Hornet Block III is retired in 2035, but the jet is still registered to her Ship Log for unknown reasons. So she thought of using it as a cheap and alternative Bomb Delivery Platform rather than sending F/A-25 Hellcats and their Drone Wingman to the unknown.)
F-35Bs are scrambling at the deck of USS Essex LHA-12. Manjuus with Flight Deck Jersey guided the planes at the deck. The others are being rearmed with Bombs and Air-To-Air Missiles.
Inside the brand new Aegis Destroyer's CIC, Laffey looks at the various monitor screens showing the Aegis Radar making over-the-horizon sweeps at the area. A small smile can be seen on her face because of the orders she receives from Enterprise. She really does anticipate this kind of a fight.
"Block V Tomahawks are ready to launch. Waiting for further orders, Ma'am." She said, fingers on the trigger button of Missile Launch.
Bunker Hill is at the Bridge of her Ship, unfazed by the sudden change of order from Enterprise. She, along with Laffey, anticipated hostilities with the unknown.
She glances at the monitor screen showing Missile Canisters being prepared for launch, as the system indicates on the screen. She then glances at the other monitor screen showing the glitching video feed coming from the drone.
"Bunker Hill, Laffey. Watch over our rear. The enemy might pop out of nowhere just like this one."
"Yes, Ma'am!"
"Belfast. Any news about our route?"
"My sonar did not detect any hostiles lurking in front of our location." Belfast reported.
The Type-26 Frigate or Town Class Frigate of the Royal Navy's primary role is to conduct an advanced ASW Sweep at the Carrier Strike Group. Towed Sonar were deployed to hunt down submarines.
"Denver. Eliminate these submarines that are shadowing us. Now."
"Yes, Ma'am."
Before the encounter with the Unknown Naval Vessels, they already knew the existence of the Unknown Submarines that were tailing behind them. Enterprise ordered Denver to keep an eye on them for now; now they know the ill intent of those submarines relaying their location to this unknown fleet for interception.
They ignored them to avoid any other-worldly dispute with the locals, but now the shit hits the fan, and the invitation for hostilities is open.
Maya and Essex both have a conversation on their comms. "Is she going to... nuke those Unknown Vessels?"
Essex answers Maya's foreboding question. "After hearing those... that's a solid Yes, and No."
As the two converse, a few F-35Bs are now airborne and waiting for further orders.
William is looking at the monitor screen while smoking a cigar. He heard Enterprise's orders and her sudden change of tone in her voice that sounds like she's about to get 'Proportional.'
"May God have Mercy on these fools who anger her." William said, as he puffs smoke.
~Underwater the Sea~
The Unknown Submarines that have been following the Carrier Strike Group ever since it started sailing begin giving out their location via encrypted radio waves. Denver is dispatched to eliminate the tailing threat down below.
"Well, Well, Well. If it ain't the sneaky invisible cunt," Denver said, as she fires her Mk-48 Heavy Weight Torpedo at the Unknown Submarine.
Plumes of water rose up above the surface as the underwater explosion eliminated all the tailing submarines.
Denver sunk 4 submarines that were following them; she eliminated them all with her Mk 48's. "This is Denver. That's the last Submarine that is tailing us, over."
"Good."
Enterprise, at the CIC of her Ship, is watching the whole conversation between the US Navy vessels and Unknown Vessels that turns into an all-out shooting. She has already sent a squadron of F/A-18 Super Hornet Block III to assist Lucas and Lafayette.
Enterprise is still waiting for the real attack to happen and thought, 'The enemy's tactic is to swarm its opponent while they are looking in the wrong direction. A clever move, but not for me.'
Then the radar screen shows 50 blimps 40 miles Southeast of the Strike Group. Enterprise smiles because she already knew the enemy's whereabouts. She knew something would pop out from their rear, out of their primary attention.
Enterprise then contacts her escort ships. "Target is located 40 miles Southeast of our location. Bunker Hill, Laffey, Maya, Belfast, and Barb. Weapons free, open fire!"
"Target is confirmed. 8 twin-hull Aircraft Carriers and 16 heavily armed ships," Bunker Hill said, as she sets the targets one by one.
USS Bunker Hill's six hinged doors of its VLS (Vertical Launch System) open up and fires 6 Tomahawk Cruise Missiles Block V, 3 from the bow and 3 from the stern of the Ship.
Laffey is looking at the 50 blimps on her monitor screen. "Target is confirmed. All 6 Tomahawk fire!" She fires 6 Tomahawk Cruise Missiles Block V onboard the USS Laffey, 3 from the bow and 3 from the amidships.
Maya is nervous; this is her first Real Combat in her 35 years of service. "Umm... I got the confirmed targets," she said.
JS Maya fires Tomahawk Cruise Missiles Block V, 2 from the bow and 2 from the stern.
Belfast goes inside the bridge and orders the Manjuu to open fire. "Target is confirmed. You're free to open fire."
HMS Belfast fires 4 Tomahawk Cruise Missiles Block V, all 4 fired from the bow of the ship.
Barb is laughing while holding a comms. "Well shits, got out of hand."
USS Barb opens two hatches of two of four of its VPM's (Virginia Payload Modules) and fires 4 Tomahawk Cruise Missiles Block V, 2 each from its two VPM.
24 Tomahawk Cruise Missiles ascend to the sky and head Southeast from their direction.
50 ships that look like the same ships that Lucas and Lafayette are currently facing. The last ship finishes passing through the purple portal; the 50 ships are sailing to the location of the Enterprise Strike Group.
24 Tomahawk Missiles descend in the sky like a "Meteor"; 24 ships are hit directly, with precise accuracy. 8 twin-hull Aircraft Carriers split in half in the middle and explode in a massive fireball within seconds. The Carrier sinks along with its aircraft onboard.
16 Heavily Armed Ships are hit at the top of their bow turret and their ammunition storage; they explode violently from ammunition cook-off. The hull of the Ship splits in half as the turret flies off several meters above the bow.
13 Aircraft are racing towards the location of the unknown fleet, 10 F/A-18 Super Hornet Block III and 3 F-35B Lightning IIs, both armed with two Paveway Bombs each aircraft.
Paveway Bombs are dropped on the aircraft's bomb racks; the Bombs are guided by laser for pinpoint accuracy. The remaining 26 ships get obliterated by the Guided Laser Bombs.
Siren Destroyers are equivalent to Freedom Class of LCS, but with more guns on deck. The single Modern Munitions, with its advanced explosive charges, renders or even destroys the whole Ship completely in one hit.
The 50 ships got destroyed in minutes before they could open fire at the attackers; the whole battle is over before it even starts.
William is looking at the radar screen as he watches the 50 blimps disappear in the radar screen.
He comments on this, "Poor bastards, not knowing who they were fucking with." He then looks at the video feed showing the Destroyer and Frigate engaging the Unknown Vessels.
"That's American taxes in action for yah," Essex said, as she watches a live feed from her F-35Bs.
"This is quite too easy for a Naval engagement," Belfast said, as she watches the live feed.
"A ship that size on Earth can intercept and survive an initial first strike of Tomahawk Missiles. But, why? WHY are they lacking some Missile Defense?"
"Probably their doctrine is still in close-range combat and not over the horizon that we are used to back on Earth. So Missile Defense is not needed in this kind of engagement," Enterprise said.
"Maybe... as we can see, they lack missile armament on their decks," Bunker Hill said.
"So... they sent Offshore Patrol Vessels to attack us?" Essex exclaims.
"Probably..."
"They're just those annoying LCS..." Laffey said with hate, as she looks at the Screen Monitor.
Maya thought, 'Does she really hate the LCS that much? I know the LCS is a waste of money, but to hate that much.'
Enterprise then watches the video feed from the drone circling above the battlefield. 'They jammed the boy's Radar Guidance of their Missiles so that they can't use their Offensive Missile against them.'
Then the Hornets she sent arrive at the aerospace of the battlefield. Without wasting any time, the Super Hornets start dropping AGM-158c LRASM and Quicksink Bombs at the Carriers and Battleships below.
She then notices Tester β trying to shoot down one of her planes but couldn't shoot properly because her aiming system is being jammed by the Planes ECMs.
'Although our jammers are capable of jamming theirs.'
She then saw Tester β speeding towards Lucas' Ship with the ill intent of killing him. Lucas tries to shoot her down but fails because Tester β deploys its Force Field.
Enterprise clinches her fist as she sees the boys' Weapons are useless against Tester β Force Field. But this also gives her an idea, a very, very stupid idea.
"Oh, no you bitch!" She uttered in anger, brows intersecting.
Enterprise controlled one of the F/A-18 Super Hornet Block III armed with Quicksink Bombs to ascend to heights of 50,000 feet, way above the jets' flight ceiling.
Bunker Hill noticed one Super Hornet climbing to 50,000 ft on one of her Over-the-Horizon Radar. "What are you doing....?"
As the Hornet reaches the height of 50,000 feet, ailerons and flaps turn to make an air brake. It then pointed its nose below and dives down, and starts doing a good old dive-bombing run with a 2,000 lbs Quicksink Bomb.
( Image )
"Wait! Are you trying to dive-bomb!!!!!!!!" She yelled.
"Wait, what?????" Everyone yelled in surprise.
"Is she trying to dive-bomb with that aircraft?" Belfast exclaimed at the sheer ridiculousness of the idea of dive bombing with a jet that goes mach-fuck.
"The dive-bombing will help increase the penetration of the Quicksink bomb," William said, as he watches the video feed.
"Come on. I have only one chance at this. Please hit!" Enterprise muttered to herself.
*Altitude, Altitude. Pull-up, Pull-up!*
The Voice Warning System of the F/A-18 Super Hornet blares in the cockpit, giving the pilot or operator the decreasing altitude of the Jet's falling in. The structure frame of the jets vibrates as the bolts and nuts are twisted along with the jet's airframe being pushed to its limits.
The mounted AESA Radar of the F/A-18 Super Hornet locks onto the target below. With the confirmation of the target, the Quicksink Bomb was released with great velocity from one of its bomb racks.
The Super Hornet then quickly pulls itself up to avoid hitting the water surface in its diving run. As the Super Hornet pulls itself up, the airframe of the jet creaks from being twisted in High-G's pull.
Everyone is on the edge of their seats, as they all watch the bomb being released from the diving Super Hornet. The Guidance of the Bomb keeps track of the target below, as it swoops in at greater velocity.
Tester β hears a whizzing noise above her head and looks up. "Huh????"
( Image )
The Quicksink Bomb impacted Tester β's force field, with high velocity shattering it like shooting a bullet through window glass.
The bomb then hits Tester β in the forehead, at its dead center. The bomb's primer then goes off activating its 2,000 lbs explosive warhead, exploding. The explosion blows Tester β's head off, decapitating her.
*BOOOOM*
The explosion from the detonation of the 2,000 lbs bomb was kept inside the Force Field and helped to keep minimum damage from spreading outside the force field. After the Force Field collapses, Tester β's headless body falls into the ocean along with its wrecked rigging.
"Yes! A direct hit!" She announced, as Manjuus and Meowfficers cheered inside the Ship's CIC.
Everyone who is watching the video feed from the targeting pod was shocked at the brutality and savagery of the bomb run. The execution of that bomb run makes every WWII Dive-Bomber pilot proud.
William almost choked on the smoke of his cigar, coughed, and fell from his CO's chair. He then stands up and said, "Jesus Christ, that's brutal."
Maya ran outside to her Ship's bridge and headed to the edge of the right wing of the bridge; she then starts vomiting after watching the decapitation.
"T-That was brutal!" She said, as she vomited at the video feed.
Essex is just staring at the sight of total destruction; she then blurted out laughing. "Shit got more American, really quick."
At the bridge of the Type-26 Frigate, Belfast could only stare at the monitor, while her tea at her hand spilled out of her teacup.
"Bloody hell," she uttered in horror.
Laffey is smiling at the sight of destruction of the Unknown Vessels, but the one that got her blood pumping is that humanoid losing its head from a GBU.
"Finally, more blood," she said, as she liked the chaos permeating around the battlefield.
Bunker Hill is unfazed at the sight, but the Manjuus and Meowfficers beside her were traumatized, as their souls were coming out of their mouths.
Barb laughed at the video feed, as the footage shown was all too similar to their operations in the Middle East.
"So, this is how we greet 'Alien' races, by dropping bombs on their foreheads? This is more American than I thought," he said, commenting on the video he saw.
Interception Point
Lafayette with RHIB sailed closer to Lucas' unconscious body. Lafayette grabs him with the help of the Manjuu as they pull Lucas out of the water.
The weight of Lucas' Rigging almost toppled the RHIB over; a few Manjuus fell overboard from the RHIB rolling over.
Lafayette shook him over and over to make him regain consciousness. "Hey! Wake up, wake up!" He shouts while shaking him violently.
Lucas slowly gains consciousness as the shaking and shouting restore his senses. "Hey... kid, what the heck just happened...?"
Lafayette stops shaking him and hugs him immediately. "I'm glad you're alright."
Lucas asks Lafayette again in a weak voice as he tries to remember what just happened, "What happened to the unknown fleet and that... bitch?"
"About that..."
Before Lafayette could answer his query, Lucas' rigging starts to glow in bright blue and turns the Ship Rigging into a dozen floating Blue Cubes. They fly several meters away from them, and a Destroyer Ship materializes in front.
Bewildered looks can be seen on the two, who are still confused by all the things that are going on faster than their brains can process.
"What the fuck was that?" Lafayette asked in surprise.
"I-I... I don't know...." Lucas shook his head. "I still have no idea about it..." He replies still having a headache from the fall.
As the two recomposed themselves, the current information flooded their heads. As the RHIB reaches the starboard side of the Destroyer, they both heard Enterprise's voice at their comms ordering them to leave the area and rendezvous with the Strike Group.
"Lucas, Lafayette. I want you two to leave that area immediately, right now. Rendezvous with the Strike Group; we need to leave this area before another Vessel of unknown origin pops out of nowhere."
The two replied in unison, "Yes, Ma'am."
"I really need a medic right now, after what just happened." Lucas said, as he feels his whole body ache with pain.
"Yeah... You're gonna need more than just a Doctor," Lafayette responded with a joking tone. The two then laughed as they both went to their respective ships.
The Destroyer and Frigate sail back to the Strike Group at a fast pace, leaving a wake of water.
~30 minutes later~
One MH-60 Seahawk flew above the devastation of floating wrecks of the Unknown Vessels that engaged the two US Naval Vessels. The shipwrecks are scattered all over the whole area, as burning oil floats above the surface and tints the ocean black.
The MH-60 then hovers above its target; the target is the headless corpse of Tester β floating on the surface, headless. A cable wire is lowered at the belly of the Helicopter, while a Manjuu clings to it as it is lowered slowly.
After touching down at the corpse and rigging, the Manjuu straps the cable around the waist of the body and wraps it around some of the edges of the corner of the rigging.
The Manjuu raised a hand and gave a thumbs-up; then the MH-60 Seahawk gains lift. The Helicopter then starts flying toward the Strike Group with its cargo dangling below its belly.
William ordered the 'Strategic Acquisition' of the finest specimen, an Alien decapitated corpse.
Down below a periscope.
A blond-haired girl is looking at the Submarine Periscope; jaw dropped as she watches the carnage. The whole fleet of Sirens that could threaten Azur Lane is now sinking and wrecked within minutes of fighting or massacre.
The Blond Girl thought, as the whole engagement between the Unknown Vessels that flew red and white stripes and the Siren Fleet.
'An Elite Siren has been taken out by one plane, and a single bomb in seconds! Even our strongest Carriers in Eagle Union, or the combined Azur Lane Carrier Force couldn't match its destructive capability. I need to follow them. I need to know who they are.'
With the determination of finding out the identity of the Naval Vessels that sunk the Siren Fleet, the Blond Girl is determined to follow the two American Vessels back into their Fleet.
