Bang! Bang! Bang!
The loud banging on the door of their room caused Jett and Kelsie to stop smooching.
"You locked the door?" Kelsie asked, hurriedly reaching for her shirt on the floor.
Jett hummed, turning toward the door with apprehension.
"Mommy! Daddy! There's a man outside!" Jesse's voice rang out after a moment.
The duo exhaled in relief, but the next second, Kelsie's brows knitted into a frown and she hurried to the door.
Pulling it open, she looked down at Jesse, her gaze shifting to the laptop in his hands. "Baby, why would you knock so loudly because of that?"
Jesse held the laptop properly and turned it for her to see.
"There's a man outside. I checked the footage and he's been there for ten minutes without knocking."
Kelsie thinned her lips and reached for the laptop.
"After what happened this afternoon, the apartment building's security shouldn't have let anyone up without calling first," she muttered, massaging the back of her neck.
