Chapter 230 - Mending

[December 19th DxD/August 11th DBT]

"Though we can't rely on the Koutotsu to deposit us seven days in the past as it did in our anime, our best chance at avoiding detection from the Soul Society is sneaking in as it performs its routine cleaning every seven days..." explained Yoruichi, seated flush atop Vahn's lap with her breasts squished against his chest and a layer of sweat coating her alluring brown body, courtesy of his cock swelling, shrinking, and vibrating with varying degrees of intensity in her continuously quivering pussy.

"Which is fewer than three days from now..." noted Vahn, having been carefully keeping track of the passage of time to ensure Rukia receives three meals a day. That way, once she was finally freed, she wouldn't be completely helpless from hunger and stress-induced exhaustion like she was in canon.

"Mhmm..." responded Yoruichi, exhaling a hot sigh and resting her chin on Vahn's left shoulder before sensually muttering, "But none of that matters if you're prepared to reveal your existence and bring the Dragon's Pavilion into the picture. Learning the truth will invariably send ripples through our world, but the death of the Soul King and the near annihilation of the Soul Society aren't exactly benign happenings..."

"That decision isn't mine alone to make..." stated Vahn, firmly squeezing Yoruichi's ass, causing her long, dark purple, cat-like tail to flick behind her as he noted, "Someone will need to step up to become your world's official representative, and there aren't many candidates better suited to such a position than the Head of the Shihōin Clan..."

"I didn't know you were into young boys with girlish natures..." teased Yoruichi, referring to her brother, Yūshirō, the exant Head of the Shihōin Clan. Chronologically, he was nearly 140 years old, but since native-born Souls developed based on their mental and emotional states, the current Yūshirō an effeminate, 146cm-tall youth with features remarkably similar to a younger Yoruichi.

"Mmn...you know exactly who I'm referring to..." hummed Vahn, grasping and gently tugging on Yoruichi's ponytail, forcing her to expose her neck so he could kiss and suckle it, causing the cat-like ears atop her head to flicker as if he had blown into them.

"Oh, I know..." responded Yoruichi, tilting her head back with her eyes closed and exhaling a hot sigh before appending, "But you should know I'm not so easily tied down...I don't mind coordinating with the Dragon's Pavilion and potentially popping out a brat at some point, but I won't be bound by marriage or involve myself in politics..."

"Alright...I did promise to respect your freedom and independence..." responded Vahn, retracting his lips from Yoruichi's neck, leaving a faint hickey in their wake. Things would definitely be easier if she reclaimed her title as the Shihōin Clan's Head and represented her world as one of his many wives, but he understood and respected her desire to remain free and mostly unfettered...

"But someone will need to represent your world," added Vahn, guiding Yoruichi to lean back with his hands and forearms as support, allowing them to see each others' faces as he stated, "Orihime is too young, and there's still a chance she could end up with Ichigo..."

"Eh, there are plenty of unwed Princesses and high-ranking Noblewomen that those bastards in the Kizokugai would be more than willing to toss to the wolves to raise or secure their status..." countered Yoruichi, entrusting her weight to Vahn's hands and using her index fingers and thumbs to roll and stimulate her nipples.

"Then what should I do...?" asked Vahn, gently undulating his fingers to massage Yoruichi's back muscles as he questioned, "Teleport directly into Captain-Commander Yamamoto's office and apprise him of the situation? I'm fairly certain he would be more concerned with incinerating me than hearing what I have to say..."

"Are you being intentionally obtuse...?" asked Yoruichi, her narrowed eyes losing their sensual shimmer, giving the impression she was unamused as she stated, "You get in contact with Kyoraku or Ukitake and let them deal with the old man. As long as you can convince them of your identity and provide them with the means to deal with Aizen's Absolute Hypnosis, they should be able to take care of the rest. Ichigo will doubtlessly feel like the wind was taken out of his sail, but I'm sure Orihime will be over the moon to hear that her friend is safe and sound without her other friends needing to risk their lives..."

"Right..." muttered Vahn. He hadn't forgotten about Kyoraku or Ukitake, who were practically like sons to Yamamato, but they hadn't jumped out to him as possible liaisons as he had always intended to go with whatever Yoruichi and Urahara cooked up, allowing him to focus on other matters.

"You actually haven't put any real thought into this, have you...?" asked Yoruichi, exhaling from her nose. She knew Vahn's approach was to only intervene when asked, but since he had unilaterally decided to reveal the truth and shatter their perception of what they believed they knew about life and existence itself, she expected him to have at least the foundations of a plan...

"In my defense, I was mostly joking..." countered Vahn, pointing out, "And the reason I ask at all is that everything I'm about to do is predicated on you and, to a lesser extent, Orihime desiring and permitting it. That's also why I wanted you to become your world's representative—that way, you would retain exclusive control over who from your world is granted access to the Tower..."

"Ah...there was that, wasn't there..." sighed Yoruichi, closing her eyes and leaning her head back. The fact she had previously asked Vahn to ensure no one else from her world was invited to the Tower, at least now without her knowing, had slipped her mind. Though, in her defense, it was difficult to think straight when she had been climaxing for twenty minutes straight, not to mention that the vibrations permeating her pussy were making her entire lower body feel numb...

'If the power to appoint Ascendees fell into the hands of the Nobles or the Central 46, they would exclusively choose people to strengthen their position and authority...' supposed Yoruichi. They were bound to make a play for control, regardless, but it was unquestionably better that such decision-making power stayed out of the hands of the nobility for as long as possible.

"Ah..."

With Vahn abruptly releasing his seed directly into her womb, Yoruichi's face scrunched, her brows crinkling, and her jaw quivering as incredible pleasure washed over her in increasingly comfortable waves. It wasn't enough to change her views regarding her freedom to live and do as she pleased, but it did alleviate at least some of her concerns. After all, even if a random Princess were sacrificed to the proverbial wolf that was Vahn with a mandate to strengthen her family and their allies, he would quickly change where her loyalties lay...

"This is quite a lot to take in..." remarked a thin, handsome man with soft but confident features, clear brown eyes, somewhat thick eyebrows, and long white hair that reached the center of his back, covering a diamond-shaped symbol with the kanji for thirteen at the center of a flowing white haori.

"But it's a verifiable truth," contended Vahn, seated across from the man, Ukitake Jushiro, Captain of the 13th Division of the Gotei 13, with as much poise and refinement as he could manage. "The only meaningful question is, will your side cooperate with us in the pursuit of mutual benefit, or will you spurn our warnings and prevent the bridge of cooperation from being constructed at its inception?"

"I will convey what you have revealed here with my mentor; that much is certain..." affirmed Ukitake, staring down at the nine, white, jade-carved magatama Vahn claimed would grant him and anyone else who kept them near immunity to Aizen's Zanpakutou. Each emitted an unmistakable aura of the divine, so while he was hesitant to accept Vahn's claims of being a transdimensional Dragon God, his ability to appear out of thin air and the sacred seeming treasures before him were difficult to disavow...

"You should also tell him there will be more revelations to come, but only once you have verified the truth of the present situation and terms have been agreed upon," stated Vahn, rising to his feet and brushing himself off as he added, "Also, while I doubt you will simply sit by and allow her to be killed, any future deals between our groups are contingent on the survival of Kuchiki Rukia. If she perishes as a result of your side's ineptitude, it will be very difficult for us to trust you moving forward..."

Catching Vahn a little off guard, Ukitake adopted a smile and asked, "Are you the one who has been secretly providing her with food and drink? If so, you have my gratitude."

Reciprocating with a smile of his own, Vahn countered, "She's already a tiny little thing. I'd hate to see her shrink even further due to neglect or spiritual malnutrition..."

"Is that so...?" asked Ukitake, suddenly finding Vahn a lot more pleasant after learning he was responsible for sneaking food to his subordinate. At the very least, it suggested he wasn't a monster.

Nodding, Vahn offered a curt "Indeed..." before adopting a markedly more serious expression and expressing, "Also, while I have broader obligations that require my attention, I will leave an ear open to this world. If you call out my name as if you're calling for me, I will hear it and turn my attention to your situation. You can employ that if your Captain-Commander wishes to meet or speak with me directly."

"Does that mean you can appear wherever you please...?" asked Ukitake, maintaining his smile but shifting to an innocuous, interrogatory mentality. He didn't wish to view Vahn as an enemy, but a being that could peer into, cross dimensions, and bypass barriers as if they didn't exist represented a significant threat to any group that held secrets close to its chest.

"There are exceptions, but I see no reason to reveal the specifics of my power or being before we've established friendly or at least mutualistic relations," responded Vahn, shaking his head. "That said, the longer we sit here and chat, the more time Aizen and his collaborators have to actualize their plans. To that end, I suggest we both be on our way."

"Yes, I suppose you're right..." conceded Ukitake, motioning to rise to his feet but immediately following back down as the symptoms of his chronic disease flared, causing him to succumb to a bout of coughing.

Seeing Ukitake struggling to compose himself, Vahn's brows furrowed in discomfort. He knew the man would bounce back thanks to the shadowy mass enveloping his lungs, staring at him with a large eye that could likely see through the flesh it was encased, but there were few things he hated more than seeing people suffer when he could stop or prevent it.

"Consider this a show of good faith..." said Vahn, leaving Ukitake confused as he touched his chest with his right hand. Nothing happened at first, but as Vahn felt a distinctly itchy feeling permeate his chest, Ukitake felt what could best be described as the sensation of basking in the sun's rays on a cool Spring day. Not only did his seizing cease instantly, but the feeling of deeply rooted fatigue that had plagued him for as long as he remembered disappeared like a weighted blanket being removed from his lungs...

Patting his chest a few times, Vahn coughed up what looked like embers, the result of his body purging Ukitake's disease and his borrowed Phenex heritage regenerating the damaged tissue.

"Alright, that should do it..." said Vahn, meeting Ukitake's slackjawed stare and providing him a faint, slightly mischievous smile before vanishing in a flash of golden light.
