"Huh?" Michael shot awake, his eyes wide.
Just a moment ago, he was on the run from Irelia. Now? He was lying flat on a bed, his arms and legs chained.
Safe to say, this was definitely not the type of foreplay he liked.
"Excuse me?" Michael said, trying to look around.
However, aside from the completely white room, he couldn't make anything special out.
It was just some bullshit captivity chamber, and if anything, he'd likely need to wait until they began experimenting on him or something.
Therefore, Michael tried his best to escape, either by using his body's mana or just breaking the chains with pure strength.
But it seemed like the more strength he imbued into the chains, the stronger and sturdier they became.
In fact, if he infused mana into them, then they permanently became stronger, so that was a complete and total dud.
