Vladimir: Individual Value analysis done by a student for my Eevee. I couldn't fully understand it, but I was shocked.

Vladimir: The Individual Values assessment technique doesn't have universal application—this is unique to Chris's Psychic ability.

A stream of comments appeared below.

Wandering Heart: Professor Vladimir's confusion is serious, hahahaha.

Black Dragon: So the Individual Values turned out to be Psychic-based? I want that kind of Psychic ability too!

White Moonlight: Another day of Psychic ability envy...

Love Brain: Are Individual Values officially recognized now?

Rainbow Sun: So basically, only the Individual Values from Chris's breeding house can be trusted, right?

Chris sat in the car heading to Tony's Gym, scrolling through the two posts his professor had just shared on social media.

Earlier, the professor had asked him to evaluate an Eevee's Individual Values, then questioned how he could see them so clearly.

Chris could only credit it to "Psychic abilities."

In this world where Psychic powers existed, Vladimir naturally accepted this explanation.

Simply seeing a Pokémon's potential with the naked eye? Even accomplished breeders like Vladimir and the Arcanine Master could only make rough judgments about Pokémon they were very familiar with.

Getting such detailed results was practically impossible through normal means.

Vladimir was well aware of his students' capabilities. Chris was talented, but reaching the level of expertise possessed by himself and the Arcanine Master would require 40 or 50 years of research on Pokémon.

So, attributing it to Psychic ability was the only logical explanation.

"Unexpectedly, someone from my hometown is also a Psychic!"

Chris was perfectly happy to let his ability be attributed to Psychic powers.

This world had all kinds of Psychics with various abilities. Telekinesis, which manipulated objects, was just the most common type. Premonition, Future Sight, and Psychic destruction were rarer and more powerful abilities.

The professor's post not only quieted the controversy in the breeder community but also "validated" the Individual Values concept Chris had introduced.

Doubts about his ability to see Individual Values would be minimized.

At the same time, this created an invisible monopoly—something no other major breeder could imitate or learn.

Chris could already foresee that the next Pokémon and Trainer matchmaking conference at his breeding house would likely be even more successful!

While Chris was contemplating this, Wanda suddenly called.

"Is something wrong at the ranch?" he asked.

"Nothing's wrong with the ranch," Wanda replied. "But I've just received calls from heads of hundreds of ranches and breeding houses across the country. They're all asking if you'd help identify their Pokémon's potential."

Chris was momentarily taken aback, then burst out laughing.

Initially, these breeders had been cautious, even actively trying to suppress his influence. After all, the breeding industry in China was enormously profitable.

The rapid rise of Chris's Breeding House would inevitably cut into their business.

All the established breeders had openly resisted the concept of Individual Values.

But now, seeing respected authorities like the Arcanine Master and Vladimir publicly supporting it—while clarifying it was a rare Psychic ability that couldn't be replicated—these breeding house owners suddenly realized this trend couldn't be stopped.

Since they couldn't stop it, they'd cooperate.

Everyone would make money together.

"Let's talk later," Chris said, ending the call.

Cooperation was inevitable, but how and when to cooperate would be on his terms. Chris hadn't decided on his preferred method of collaboration yet, but he knew he needed to wait until he could establish Chris's Breeding House as a respected, premium brand with undisputed status.

Arriving at Tony's Gym, Chris stepped out of the car and opened the gate.

Tony was lounging lazily in a rocking chair, with a jug of fine wine on the stone table in front of him, its aroma filling the air.

In the courtyard, Vigoroth and Smeargle sat cross-legged on the ground with their eyes closed, seemingly meditating or resting.

"You're finally here!" Tony raised his eyebrows. "Pay up for nearly a month's worth of food for your two Pokémon!"

"Fine, name your price!" Chris responded confidently, not concerned about the cost.

"I don't want much—just a jug of wine from your master!"

"Then I can't help you," Chris refused without hesitation. Wine hidden away by his master would surely be a premium product that even money couldn't buy.

It was probably brewed by the master himself, meaning Chris would need to speak with him directly to obtain it.

"Didn't you just ask me to name my price?"

"I meant money. Or I could buy you some good wine instead?" Chris planned to ask his master first if there was a place to purchase his specialty wine. If not... he'd be willing to offer Tony some other premium wine at a high price.

Tony was furious. "Get out of here, and take your Vigoroth and Smeargle with you!"

Chris, along with the still-meditating Vigoroth and Smeargle, were unceremoniously thrown out of Tony's Gym by his Slaking. A stack of papers half as tall as a person followed them out, covered with the character "静" (stillness) written repeatedly by Smeargle.

"Your Smeargle has mastered some essence of imitation. These writings can be pasted all over a room to create a mild focusing effect!" Tony's voice called from behind the door.

"Looks like your time here wasn't wasted after all!" Chris patted Smeargle on the head.

"Smear~(That's right!)" Smeargle looked up proudly.

Taking out their Poké Balls and recalling both Pokémon, Chris got back into the car and headed to the nearest Trainers' Association hotel.

With the special flight at 5 AM tomorrow morning, Chris didn't want to travel from the university campus that early.

In the car, Chris opened Vigoroth's status screen.

[Vigoroth (Normal)]

Scanning the long list of moves, Chris noticed two particular moves: Mega Punch and Body Slam.

Mission accomplished.

Now it was time for some targeted training.
