"Woah," Charles purred, an amused smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. "Just make sure you don't end up hurting yourself in the process, besides, Aubrey was once a friend," he added softly, his voice laced with concern despite the playful glint in his eyes.
Sigh!
Augustine exhaled deeply, swallowing hard. "Thanks for the meal, by the way," he muttered, turning around as he slowly walked back to his office chair.
"You're welcome, boo," Charles purred.
Augustine who had just taken his seat on his office chair froze for a moment before his eyes lit up in surprise. "Pookie! Is that a new pet name?" he asked, excitement sparkling in his gaze.
Charles couldn't help but chuckle softly. "I figured, since you call me baby boy and pookie, calling you babe and boo would match the energy you give me."
"Ohh heaven," Augustine groaned playfully, tossing his head back. "Don't seduce me while we're at work, okay? Save all that for when we're home."
