Peter Olsen sized up Susan Simpson from head to toe and was about to speak when her eyes reddened, "Peter, do you suspect me too? After two years together, you actually don't believe me? I saved your life back then, almost lost mine for you, and yet you still don't trust me?"
Her eyes welled up in grievance.
Peter Olsen immediately softened, "No, it's not like that... don't be like this..."
Susan Simpson turned aside, "If you don't trust me, then let's not get married!"
After Susan Simpson finished speaking, she turned around and walked out the door, looking dejected.
Peter Olsen, anxious, looked back and saw Mary Davis and Ellis Olsen being escorted out by firefighters. Seeing that the two weren't seriously hurt, he immediately ran after Susan Simpson.
The crowd, however, was less concerned with their behavior and more focused on greeting Ellis Olsen and Mary Davis.
