After showing Gu Ting around Shencheng University and having dinner, Gu Ting insisted on checking into a hotel, unwilling to stay at Qi Si's villa with Shen Yan, as she feared disturbing their little world.
Shen Yan had no choice but to help Gu Ting with the check-in process before heading home.
Qi Si and Shen Yan arrived home at the same time, just as Qi Si was about to message Shen Yan, he saw her car and put away his phone.
As Shen Yan got out of the car, she noticed the tall and commanding figure standing in the light and shadow, and paused, "Mr. Qi, did you just get back too?"
Qi Si nodded.
"I've made arrangements for my mother," Shen Yan answered before he could ask.
"Um."
Qi Si knew that Gu Ting didn't really like interacting with him and understood.
Shen Yan asked, "Mr. Qi, have you had dinner?"
"I have."
Shen Yan nodded, asking no further.
