Chapter 50 - Chapter 50: "One on One"

*

Shigaraki actually appeared. Not that I was surprised, but rather doubtful... My existence might have affected his "connection" with Midoriya. However, it seems that this meeting was a foregone conclusion.

Well... I feel better. Whether this Tomura found his stupid villainous path there or not, it doesn't matter. He'll soon realize how fragile his team of villains is, and that I don't like its existence at all.

If I kill a few of them, VZO will definitely know that it's a dirty business, because heroes are far from murderers. However, don't I care?

I want to kill the League members for two reasons:

First, loosen them up a bit. Without teammates, Shigaraki's progress will be slowed down and the "merge" with ARIS may not happen so soon. Although this is also controversial, given the Gigantomachy.

The second is to test your strength in action. I really needed it. Although, the problem is that there were not so many of them who were really able to give me a decent fight.

They probably won't even know how they died...

Otherwise, I won't get anything special, except for the Toga, for which I have special plans...

If VZO is captured in the future, I will immediately deal with Tomura, Kurogiri, and Garaki. I'd even rather do the latter first. First of all, he is weaker, although he has Noma under control. But his existence might make an already dangerous bastard stronger.

In addition, there are fears that VZO may actually escape from Tartarus, so it would be better to deprive him of his main trump card. If I do that, I'll have the victory in my pocket, so all I have to do is swat down a couple of small fry, and then take care of ARIS. Maybe even use someone else's hands against them... Who knows.

Of course, VZO has other "vessels" in mind, but Tomura is the best. He definitely needs to be dealt with. After Garaki, of course.

In any case, I'm already tired of sitting still. I want to test my strength and find the best goal. Even if it breaks the course of history, I don't care anymore. With the current set of quirks, I felt confident enough to stand up to my major hindrances.

But, of course, we must not forget about training. Power is the foundation of everything.

*

The summer holidays began — the best time for training, and everything would have been fine, but then something happened that surprised me at first, and then very much alarmed me.

An event I barely knew about...

Ai-island. It was an offshoot of the main story that I hadn't read about in the manga, which meant I couldn't predict how it would end or how I would use it to my advantage.

Admittedly, losing the lion's share of control, thanks to my knowledge, was stressful.

I received an invitation to this island due to the fact that I won first place at the Yue Festivals, but after that, Momo contacted me and made me almost the same invitation to a certain exhibition held on this island and I just couldn't refuse, and all because I immediately received an assignment:

["One on one"

Conditions: Single-handedly defeat Wolfram before the Almighty intervenes.

Reward: 50,000 points, Genetic Enhancement: Strength x5]

That's what I mean by reward... With it, I can count on one more imb quirk before Training Camp starts.

If it wasn't for the Sensors, then I would hardly have had any chances to influence something without proper knowledge... However, with this quirk, I had some confidence in completing the task. A strong villain surely has a powerful background. The Almighty, for example, was like the brightest star to me. His "aura" was hundreds of times greater than many other heroes. I think this villain is something to stand out for. He will certainly have certain "intentions"coming from him. I've recently learned to feel this way. Although not perfect, it might help a little...

The events on Ai-island weren't covered in the manga, but I knew for a fact that they were covered in the movie. The main villain there was a certain Tungsten, with a quirk that allows you to control the metal. His goals and motives were unknown to me. Of course, the "good" prevailed, but I don't know how or why.

I can only guess... With the existence of the Almighty, and given the timing of the film, there were only two options:

1. The Almighty was somehow restricted or unable to assume his strongest form.

2. The enemy could fight back.

That's all there is to it...

The first option is preferred. The second one is undesirable... Metal manipulation is not so-so fad, even the price is not high. However, to have the courage to attack the island when the Almighty was there, one could either be a fool or a very confident person. It is possible that the WZO was involved in the case, so it would not be the best idea to show off there. Given the rest of the films, this is quite likely.

This seems like the right time to put on a mask...

I will hunt them down and attack them, quickly and without mercy. If the enemy is too strong, I will immediately retreat.

Well, even if I didn't have much information, it would be stupid to miss out on the opportunity to earn points. This could have a huge impact on my plans, and for the better. The enemy's strength isn't a problem if it's just Metal. In extreme cases, I can always Teleport...

So I accepted Momo's invitation, and the next morning we flew to Ai-Island together with her, her parents, whom I met for the first time, and a couple of classmates.
