Chapter 342 - C230

"It's here, and we have another 20 kilometers to go on this road. We can rest first," Jiraiya said to Sarutobi Hiruzen, Namikaze Minato, and the others.

This time, they had brought a total of more than 30 people. Besides Jiraiya, Sarutobi Hiruzen, and Namikaze Minato, the group included Nara Shijiu, eighteen members from the Ino–Shika–Chō family, and fifteen from the Sarutobi clan.

In total, there were thirty-seven people, including sixteen Jōnin. The rest were Elite Chūnin, all highly skilled in coordinated combat.

"They seem to rely heavily on manpower patrols, so I suggest we infiltrate at night. It should make sneaking in much easier."

As Jiraiya spoke, he drew a rough schematic of the Kahn Chamber of Commerce's base in the Land of Tea. Toads were excellent for gathering intelligence, and many from Mount Myōboku possessed human-like intelligence. Using them to scout and mark locations made information gathering significantly easier.

Nara Shikaku asked, "Master Jiraiya, does the enemy have any sensory-type ninjas?"

"I'm not sure, but if they do, they would have detected the toads I sent. Over the past week, more than forty of them have gone unnoticed. It seems their defenses are lax—I haven't seen a single ninja outside," Jiraiya stated confidently.

In the ninja world, shinobi always wore forehead protectors, even rogue and wandering ninjas. Their status was highly valued, and those who mastered even a few jutsu were eager to display their affiliation.

"It's better to be cautious. Let me and my Yamanaka clan companions use sensory ninjutsu to investigate. If we position ourselves in different directions, we should be able to fully scan the base," Namikaze Minato suggested.

Nara Shikaku agreed. This mission's selection process had been meticulous, and many in the group were proficient in sensory techniques.

With the plan set, Namikaze Minato led several sensory ninjas from the Yamanaka clan to carefully probe the Kahn Chamber of Commerce's base. Meanwhile, the rest of the team concealed themselves nearby, waiting for Minato and his squad to report back.

"You bastard!"

Tsunade felt her lips slightly swollen. Somehow, this guy had managed to get away with it again.

They had snuggled and kissed for so long, and aside from the final step, he had caressed her body for nearly two hours.

She quickly wiped her lips, stood up, and noticed some damp spots on Kahn's body. Embarrassed, she kicked him and snapped, "I'm going to change clothes. You should, too."

"Alright, alright. The house is ready for you," Kahn replied with a grin. Tsunade's attitude had softened considerably.

His efforts—using the power of the Thunder Fruit to serve her for two hours—hadn't been in vain. In the future, Tsunade wouldn't avoid him as she once did.

As for the wet marks on her body, despite having been intimate before, Kahn had just discovered that Tsunade had this particular constitution. Unfortunately, she was pregnant now, so they would have to wait until after the child was born.

Ding!

The communicator on Kahn's body suddenly sent a warning. Seeing the message from Shinno, he got up, moved to the next room, and turned on the projection screen.

"Master, someone is testing the base's defenses. It looks like they're using toads. I captured one alive and disrupted its chakra. They should all be from Mount Myōboku," Shinno reported.

He also transmitted the surveillance footage collected by the satellite.

"This guy is Namikaze Minato, right? A bunch of blond-haired shinobi appeared in the Green's grass, and the others are also from Konoha. It seems that Namikaze Minato or Jiraiya is trying to gather intel," Kahn remarked with a slight smile as he observed the surveillance footage.

Then, he gave an order to the Red Queen. "Red Queen, since we have intruders, test the Z-virus biomechanical warriors, along with the other defense mechanisms in the base. Also, collect more data on these ninjas."

"Yes, sir," the Red Queen responded.

Following the command, she immediately activated the biomechanical warriors in the bio-containment chambers.

Last time, she had planned to lend Orochimaru a hundred of them, but since Cloud Shinobi never initiated a war, she had only given him a dozen for research. The rest remained dormant in the base—until now.

With intruders present, the biomechanical warriors could finally demonstrate their capabilities.

This batch consisted of the most basic models, equipped with enhanced physical structures, reinforced metal skeletal systems, and unexpected hidden weapons. Their primary attack method relied on the viruses embedded in their claws, teeth, and weapons.

The Red Queen would collect combat data from these battles to refine their capabilities. Meanwhile, Kahn planned to further enhance the next batch of biomechanical warriors in the One Piece world.

The bodies in that world had greater plasticity—some could even support the installation of Ark Reactors as power sources. With that kind of modification, a single punch could generate an impact force close to Mach 2.

Currently, the base in the Land of Tea housed a total of 374 biomechanical warriors, all of whom had been awakened from their containment chambers. In addition, there were also pure G-virus and Z-virus infected specimens—difficult-to-control entities used solely for virus evolution research.

"Red Queen, try to keep the bodies intact. If that's not possible, don't worry about it—eliminating the enemy is the priority. If there's any risk of the base being compromised, notify me immediately."

With over 300 biomechanical warriors in play, any enemy without an Uchiha's Susanoo or a similar defense would find it nearly impossible to survive.

In a different setting, the biomechanical warriors even had self-destruction capabilities, but since they were inside the base, that option was off the table.

Kahn monitored the surrounding area via satellite, keeping track of the intruders' movements. He had no intention of waiting around for a day or two—if these Konoha shinobi didn't withdraw soon, he would take the initiative to eliminate them.

Just then, the sound of footsteps approached.

Tsunade entered the room, wearing a form-fitting kimono. When she saw Kahn, she frowned and asked, "What are you doing here?"

"Thinking about what to make for dinner tonight…"

Before she could enter fully, Kahn discreetly shut off the projection screen. He wasn't planning to tell Tsunade about Jiraiya and Sarutobi Hiruzen just yet.

The child would be born in about a year, and by then, Tsunade might be able to accept the situation. After all, she had been teammates with Jiraiya and Sarutobi for over a decade.

Night Falls

Nara Shikaku and the others wasted no time. After gathering intelligence, they decided to act immediately.

They had checked multiple times and confirmed that there was only one ninja in the base—one without sensory abilities—which reassured them. However, there were quite a few guards.

While firearms posed little threat to seasoned shinobi, large numbers of armed personnel could still be dangerous.

Jiraiya and the others had limited knowledge of firearms, as they were still relatively undeveloped in the ninja world.

However, the ones used by the Kahn Chamber of Commerce's guards were far more advanced in both firepower and firing rate—comparable to a Chūnin's shuriken techniques.

"The base is quite large," Nara Shikaku explained, pointing at the map. "But according to the intelligence gathered by the toads, this should be their core facility. We'll need to bypass these factories and infiltrate here."

With the presence of multiple Yamanaka clan members, stealth operations would be much smoother.

After finalizing their assignments, Nara Shikaku and his team split into five groups, each approaching the Kahn Chamber of Commerce's base from different directions.

This facility had originally been a small village but was gradually purchased and expanded by the Kahn Chamber of Commerce, turning it into an urban complex spanning nearly 30 kilometers.

It housed pharmaceutical factories, new energy power plants, satellite launch pads, and other high-tech facilities.

"Strange… did they give the guards the night off? The usual security presence is gone," a Yamanaka clan ninja muttered as they arrived at the rendezvous point. He had used sensory ninjutsu but detected very few people nearby—only one or two stationed along the main road.

This contradicted their previous intel. Had they failed to gather all the necessary information? Or had they completely overlooked the guards' patrol schedule?

Nara Shikaku frowned. "Aside from these few people, do you sense anyone else?"

"No. Only seven guards. I contacted the other squads, and it's the same on their end. It seems most of them went back to rest this afternoon," the Yamanaka ninja reported, relaying information from his clan members stationed in different areas.

"Take them out and move in," Nara ordered.

The Yamanaka ninja crept forward, waiting for the right moment. When he got close, he used the Mind Body Switch Technique to seize control of a guard, then swiftly knocked out the man beside him.

Under the controlled guard's influence, he leaped from a high platform, and in mid-air, the Yamanaka ninja released his jutsu, causing the unconscious body to collapse upon landing.

In scenarios like these, ordinary guards stood no chance against trained shinobi.

"Clear."

With the guards neutralized, Nara Shikaku and the others infiltrated the base.

But the moment they stepped into the monitored zone, something changed.

Lying in wait outside, the biomechanical warriors—pre-positioned in ambush—suddenly received an activation signal. Their pale, soulless eyes flickered to life.

These warriors, infused with the Z virus, no longer relied on normal human functions like breathing. Their bodies moved solely through intense cellular activity, fused with metal components. This unnatural state made them nearly undetectable, even to the Yamanaka clan's sensory ninjutsu.

As Nara Shikaku, Jiraiya, Namikaze Minato, and Sarutobi Hiruzen advanced, their every movement was tracked by the Red Queen's surveillance system—over a thousand cameras with no blind spots. Within seconds, all the biomechanical warriors received new orders.

Data analysis complete. Initiating ambush.

At the Red Queen's command, the first wave of creatures was released from their containment chambers. These were not the advanced biomechanical warriors but pure biochemical weapons—merely the opening act.

Their primary purpose was to gather combat data on the shinobi, allowing the more dangerous biomechanical warriors to adapt accordingly.

Nara Shikaku's instincts screamed that something was wrong. Their infiltration had been far too easy. This didn't feel like a high-security facility with classified secrets.

Hiss… hiss…

A chilling, raspy sound echoed through the base.

Everyone immediately tensed. Moments later, monstrous figures emerged from the shadows—creatures beyond comprehension.

"What the hell…?"

Towering four to five meters tall, the abominations had grotesquely knotted muscles, with their flesh fully exposed.

Each had only one massive, razor-sharp claw, gleaming in the dim light. Their abdomens were disturbingly translucent, revealing pulsating organs within.

As they drew closer, an overwhelming stench filled the air—a nauseating mix of decay and chemicals.

The shinobi braced themselves.

The real battle had begun.
