Angel returned to the bed, and quickly dialled Tony.
"Ares, I'm glad you called ba—"
"It's Angel. Ares left his phone with me."
"Oh. I take it you two are on good terms now? That's good for the sake of your daughter."
"No, it's not like that. Let's not discuss that yet. Do you have any plans in motion? I hope you're not going to give up on helping me find my daughter?"
"I won't, and I'm working on it. How do I get a hold of Ares?"
"I can redirect your calls to him, but I don't think that would be necessary. There's a fundraiser happening in Kolasi tomorrow night. I think he's going to make use of that. I just don't know how," she explained.
"Alright. I'll get back to you."
As the call ended, she started to play with a silly idea in her head.
She remembered clearly what Ares said to her.
Still, she went ahead to follow her guts, and dialled David's number.
He answered on the second ring. "Hello?"
"It's Angel," she said.
