Ares alighted from the car just at the entrance, as they were flagged down by cops in uniform.
He walked straight to the officers, and the broodiness of his face heightened when he saw officer Berkeley amongst the cops.
Looking around, he could tell they had successfully cleared out the guests that came for the fundraising event.
What he didn't understand was why they were still cops present when it was almost dawn.
"Mr Ares Arseny?" One of the cops lifted his badge as he reached them.
"Yeah. What do you want?" He asked dismissively, not in the mood to entertain the blue boys.
"A few questions. Mr David's family has named your home as the place he was shot," the officer said.
"We would like to take you with us for some questioning," officer Berkeley maliciously added.
Ares' gaze traveled briefly to him, before returning back to officer Caleb.
