Ares stirred from his sleep and opened his eyes.
His head turned to the side, his first instinct to look for Isabella.
Instead of Isabella, he saw Nadia rewrapping his arms.
"You're finally awake," she said.
"How long did I sleep? He asked, looking around the room as his consciousness tried to fully catch up.
Nadia brushed her hand along his arms, and then with a finger, stroked his brows.
"As long as you needed it. It's a new day," she said, and he immediately straightened to a sitting position.
"Isabella?" He asked, rising to his feet.
"She's in her crib. I fed her with the bottles of breast milk Angel left in the fridge."
He stopped mid way into wearing his shoes, and swiftly turned around to face her.
"You did what?!"
She flinched a little, not understanding why he was so outraged.
"What did you say you did?" He asked again, and that was when it finally dawned on her.
