As the tension from Chthon's looming presence began to settle, a heavy silence hung in the room. Wanda leaned back slightly, still processing. Pietro's knee bounced with leftover adrenaline. Emma exhaled, rubbing her temple.

Then Magneto broke the quiet.

"I want to post a quest."

All heads turned toward him.

Nova's brow arched in interest. "Oh?"

Magneto met his gaze, composed but deliberate. "If your system is as useful as you claim, then I intend to use it."

Emma crossed her legs with a slight smirk. "Didn't take you long to buy into the Omni-Dex economy."

"I'm not buying in," Magneto replied evenly. "I'm utilizing it."

Nova leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees. "What kind of quest are we talking?"

Magneto smiled," Well this will serve as a proof of your claim that you can trade with Harry Potter, the fictional character."

Emma leaned in," Oh?"

Nova gave no reaction just motioned Magneto to continue," I want a set of advanced wards created for one of our Brotherhood's hidden strongholds. It's remote—underground. Secure from the outside. But I want it shielded from magical, mutant, and technological detection. Cloaking. Defense. Warning systems. A comprehensive ward network."

Pietro whistled immediately, an impressed look crossing his face. "Cool. Like, way cooler than I thought you were gonna say. I figured you'd ask for some fancy door locks or something, not... anti-everything shielding."

Emma arched a brow, her lips curving into a slow, amused smile. "Well, well. Who knew Magneto was secretly paranoid? Underground strongholds, cloaking from magic and mutants? I'm almost touched."

Magneto didn't rise to the bait. "It's called preparation. If this world has taught us anything, it's that assumptions about who or what can find you are often fatal."

Wanda tilted her head, curiosity piqued. "You really think Potter and Granger are capable of that level of warding? Afterall from my guess they are currently in fourth year or fifth."

Nova nodded," Indeed they are in fifth year, which will start in a few days. As for their capability? You dont have to worry about it. If they accept it, they have to complete it. Doesn't matter whether they do it themselves or take help from others."

Emma gave an exaggerated sigh, leaning back in her seat. "So, child soldiers with a magical aptitude for constructing multidimensional security systems? And here I thought Charles had high standards for recruitment."

Pietro snorted. "Next thing you'll tell me is Harry Potter has a side hustle in quantum encryption."

Nova smirked. "He doesn't. But Hermione might, if she had the schematics and a spare weekend."

That earned a skeptical glance from Emma, but also a curious flicker of interest. "So, we're seriously outsourcing our base security to fictional children?"

"They're not fictional to me," Nova replied coolly, swiping the air to bring up the Omni-Dex interface. "And soon, they won't be fictional to you, either."

A shimmering display hovered in the air, the letters assembling as if written by invisible ink.

Absolutely, here's the revised quest display in all caps, as requested:

------

[NEW QUEST CREATED: IRON VEIL PROTOCOL]

OBJECTIVE: DESIGN AND INSTALL ADVANCED SET OF WARDS FOR HIDDEN BROTHERHOOD STRONGHOLD.

THREAT PROTECTIONS REQUIRED: MAGICAL, MUTANT-BASED, AND TECHNOLOGICAL INTRUSION.

REWARD: TO BE NEGOTIATED.

CLIENT: ERIK LEHNSHERR(MAGNETO), LEADER OF BROTHEHOOD OF MUTANTS

OMNI-DEX FEE: PENDING.

STATUS: AWAITING ACCEPTANCE.

PENALTY FOR FAILURE: MILD REDUCTION IN STANDING WITH QUEST ISSUER AND TEMPORARY SUSPENSION FROM FUTURE BROTHERHOOD QUESTS.

----

Pietro leaned closer to read. "Wait—there are penalties?"

Nova nodded. "Of course. It's a system built on risk and trust. If you fail a quest you've accepted, there has to be some accountability. In this case, the penalty is light. No injuries, no ridiculous punishments—just reputation damage and temporary suspension from related quests."

Wanda raised an eyebrow. "So they can't just abandon the job if it gets too hard?"

"No," Nova confirmed. "But it also won't ruin them. The system's fair. Challenging, but fair. If they fail, they won't be able to accept quests from the Brotherhood again for a while—unless Magneto chooses to override the block."

Magneto folded his arms. "I won't. If they fail, they're out. I don't want half-measures defending our people."

Emma glanced at him, smirking. "What a softie."

He ignored her.

Wanda stared at the glowing log again. "Still strange… seeing their names on something real."

Pietro grinned. "Can we get a selfie if they show up? Maybe have Harry sign a broomstick?"

Nova chuckled. "If they accept, you'll get a lot more than autographs. Trust me."

Magneto gave the interface a final look before it faded from view. His expression was steel.

"Then let fiction prove its worth."

Suddenly Nova said," Well they will prove their worth, if you first set the price and pay the Omni-Dex few. Also don't give money as they won't have any use of your money. Afterall this world's currency won't work for them."

Pietro blinked. "Wait, they don't take money?"

Nova shrugged. "Not the kind you're used to. Different world, different economy. Your currency means nothing in Hogwarts. You want something done, you offer something they can use."

Magneto narrowed his eyes. "Then what do they accept?"

Nova shrugged casually. "Favors. Resources. Rare materials. Strategic alliances. Even knowledge—especially the kind not found in their world. But straight-up currency? Worthless to them."

Emma nodded," Indeed different worlds and different economy's. From your suggestions, well we don't have any magical knowledge that they need. I also don't think that currently due to war, they won't be very interested in our so called muggle knowledge."

Magneto nodded," Then most likely we can give them resources, favours, rare marerials and even built alliances."

Before Nova could answer, Pietro snapped his fingers. "Ooh! I've got an idea."

Everyone turned toward him.

"Why don't we offer them help in return?" he said, eyes lit up with mischief and genuine interest. "You know, as a reward. They get our support—mutant backup, real muscle—whenever their little wizard war heats up. A favor for a favor."

Wanda blinked, then tilted her head thoughtfully. "Not a bad idea. Magical wars sound messy. They'd probably appreciate allies who don't die from a stiff breeze."

Emma raised an amused brow. "You're suggesting we lend out the Brotherhood as magical mercenaries? That's a bold pitch for a bunch of teenagers."

Pietro grinned. "Well, they're not just any teenagers, right? These two are apparently building multidimensional warding systems and negotiating with interdimensional brokers. Seems like they can handle a little mutant muscle."

Magneto's eyes narrowed, but not dismissively. "You're suggesting we pledge ourselves to another conflict?"

"No," Nova interjected, voice calm. "Only that you offer support—if requested. As a redeemable reward. It won't be binding unless they call it in. Think of it as a wartime favor token."

Emma folded her arms, intrigued. "A little Brotherhood favor coin. I like it. Very Game of Thrones."

Magneto was silent for a long moment, then finally gave a firm nod. "Acceptable. But they must choose when and how to redeem it. I will not interfere blindly."

Nova smirked. "Understood. I'll list the reward as strategic support in their conflict—redeemable at their discretion."

Pietro clapped once, grinning. "Boom. Quest reward and a ticket to the magical warzone. I'm bringing popcorn."

Emma smirked. "And I'll bring a camera. Watching you try to flirt with a veela would be worth the trip alone."

Wanda sighed but smiled faintly. "We're really doing this."

Nova brought the interface back up, fingers dancing across the glowing screen as he updated the quest.

"Let's make it official then."
