Akane put her hands on daughter's shoulders, and looked at her in the eyes.
"Were you seriously starting to consider political marriage?"

"Tobirama has rubbed off on you too much. Not everything should be for the village. If you sacrifice your happiness and forcibly rationalize that something like this is a good thing, later down the line, only you will suffer."
"Eh? Nothing like that will happen. It's not like I am doing it. I just considered it as one of the option."
Akane sighed and sat down on the floor, gesturing her daughter to lay on her lap.
"I am not a kid."
"You are. 17 is a kid's age."
Akame huffed and laid in her lap.
Then, her mother started telling her experience.
"You know, I first went to battlefield when I was 14. Before that, I stayed behind to protect the clan compound and treat the injured."
"Wait, now that I think about it, I can understand the weaker girls not being sent to the battlefield, but you were quite strong, right?"
"Well, before Madara, the Uchiha clan was quite sexiest. Senju clan was the same. Why do you think both Madara and Hashirama were 4-4 brothers? Amongst the 8, shouldn't there have been atleast one sister?"

"Clans couldn't afford to have internal disputes when almost everyone outside the clan was enemy. Power struggle between brothers was already enough, if a sister was brought into the mix, other ninjas within clan might also have gotten greedy for clan head position.
Your grandfather became the Uchiha clan head after killing his brother. He also perhaps hoped to awaken Mangekyo Sharingan, but couldn't.
So clans avoid having direct daughters from the clan head.
Atleast that's what the belief was. It's still is in many clans, nobles, and even normal commoners.

Having seen the anime fights and seeing his strength firsthand are two different things. And Madara wasn't taking the 4th Great Ninja War seriously with the intent to kill everyone.
"No chance as it is. With being perfect jinchuriki of kurama, I'd say 50-60% chance."

"Anyway, I hadn't killed anyone before I entered battlefield. Killing was, unnatural. After taking my first life, I started wanting peace.
Hashirama and Madara wanted peace. But while Tobirama didn't oppose it, and was completely willing for it if Uchiha clan accepted it, Madara wasn't that strong willed for peace. And Izuna was a person who didn't believe in peace at all."
Since Madara was weak-willed, perhaps that's why he thought about the ridiculous idea of Infinite Tsukuyomi.
Akane even tried to explain him by logic why putting the entire world into genjutsu was a bad idea. Wouldn't people just die of starvation while being in genjutsu for life?
Moreover, she said it was a sham. If the Uchiha clan's ancestor really had this idea, why didn't he do it? How is something that never happened recorded on the stone table?
Did Sage of Six Paths perform it? If he did, there must have been a reason he undid it.

"Convenience, compromise, goal, ambition... don't ever approach love and marriage with these things.
I know you. You start thinking from the role you have while keeping your feelings supressed. You are thinking about everything like a Hokage. Just like Tobirama.
And just like Itachi thought about everything like a ROOT ninja.
Think like Uchiha Akame too. If you don't understand what you want, you will not be happy. And don't think that you don't need to be happy if you are doing it for the village's sake.

As if that wasn't enough, Akame, who has told Danzo to be in that training ground to fight with both Hiruzen and Danzo to stretch out her limbs, also arrived at the scene.
Hiruzen let go of Jiraiya, no longer intent on protecting Jiraiya.
Jiraiya saw Akame, and shouted while pointing fingers at Hiruzen.
