Jiang Xiaobai pointed at him and demanded, "Tell me where she is!"
The man in white rose from the stone stool, smiled faintly, and drew a Jade Flute from his belt. This Jade Flute was thoroughly azure, richly lush in hue, likely crafted from superior jade.
"Boy, you think you've won so soon? Don't be so pleased with yourself!"
Before his words trailed off, the man in white brought the Jade Flute to his lips and began to play.
Jiang Xiaobai was surprised, wondering if playing a tune on the Jade Flute could actually defeat him, or whether this fellow was calling for reinforcements.
As the sound of the flute reached his ears, Jiang Xiaobai felt something was amiss, as if he was bewitched; his brain seemed almost controlled by the flute's melody.
"This is bad! The sound of this flute can lure and bewitch the soul!"
Jiang Xiaobai quickly covered his ears, but the sound of the flute still penetrated clearly into his ear canals.
