When Professor Chen Ke pushed open the door and entered, he did not seem particularly surprised; Chen Ke dragged his gun and examined the professor with white and sparse hair.
The professor was dressed in a black suit, with a blue tie, sparse white hair circling around his temples and the back of his head, avoiding his forehead which, under the orange light, shone brightly.
With his hands clasped behind his back, the professor was remarkably calm—for someone of his age, he had probably seen this kind of scene too often.
"You seem very composed," Chen Ke couldn't help but say.
"Panic and confusion stem from the unknown; your gun has already informed me of your intentions, so why should I be panicked?" the professor responded coldly.
"It seems a lot of people want you dead, Professor," Chen Ke said.
"And why do you want me dead?" the professor asked.
Chen Ke hesitated and did not reply; it was a question he also didn't know the answer to.
