The eight swordsmen each held a shield, distinct from the triangular lozenge shields of the silver knights. Their shields were smaller and rounder, more lightweight, even smaller than Captain America's shield by two sizes. The symbol on the shield was a smiling sun.
Chen Ke couldn't tell if the emblem represented the Knight Order or the country, but whichever it was, the sunny badge looked rather amusing, with its brilliant yellow and eight red triangular rays spreading outward from the round sun.
The most bewitching part was the face on the sun; at first, it seemed to be smiling, but upon closer inspection, the expression was ambiguously mocking, subtly conveying scorn and disdain.
