Samuel, in his Prime Emergence form, flew upwards and after doing a single loop, charged at the giant black snake. The snake responded by firing several shots of acidic venom at him but he easily dodged them and froze the ones he couldn't. Nothing could stop his charge.
The snake, seeing the winged creature still charging at it, made a surprising move. It coiled itself and spun around sharply, smacking Samuel with his heavy scaled tail and sending him hurtling into the hard asphalt; burying him.
"Shit!! That hurt! I'm going to rip you apart you overgrown leather belt!" Samuel shouted with a growl as he pried himself out of the hole, glaring at the giant black snake before him.
He jumped into the air and after doing another loop, charged at the snake once again with a faster speed. The snake repeated its attack once again with its tail but Samuel dodged it by diving down.
"Not falling for that again", he said as he and socked it hard in the jaw; sending it sprawling to the ground. He then grabbed its tail in his arms, lifted it off the ground and slammed it down hard onto the ground, creating a large crater.
He then dove down to strike it once again but the snake managed to dodge it and trap him in a coil; constricting him.
Samuel let out a pained roar as the snake tightened the constriction. It hissed in glee at the thought of consuming such a delectable morsel.
The thought of being treated as just a meal by a measly snake caused Samuel's dragon blood to boil. He roared loudly in rage as he glowed and suddenly transformed into a giant red dragon; surprising the snake and all the observers.
Before the snake could react, Samuel used his large tail to smack it across the jaw, sending it flying through multiple buildings. He then roared loudly; declaring his superiority between them.
The snake quickly recovered and screeched loudly in return as it prepared to attack.
.......
The city trembled under the weight of the battle. Skyscrapers, once towering symbols of progress, now bore the scars of a war between two monsters—a colossal black viper and a ferocious red dragon.
All the observers held their breath as the witnessed the titanic battle.
The black viper, as thick as a subway tunnel and longer than a city block, slithered through the ruins, its obsidian scales glinting under the shattered neon streetlights.
Its forked tongue flicked in and out, tasting the scent of its opponent—the dragon Samuel. The beast coiled around the ruins of a toppled office building, its slit-pupil eyes narrowing as it prepared to strike.
From above, Samuel descended in a flurry of leathery wings, his sharp claws glistening as his crimson scales shimmered like molten lava. He roared loudly; a sound that sent a shockwave, shattering glass for miles, and unleashed a torrent of fire towards his enemy.
The inferno bathed the viper's surroundings in a crimson glow, igniting abandoned cars and sending plumes of smoke spiraling into the night sky. Unfortunately, the viper was too fast. It darted between the flames with unnatural speed, twisting its massive body around a crumbling high-rise and launching itself at the dragon.
The impact was cataclysmic. The viper's head crashed into the Samuel's midsection, sending him hurtling backward into a bridge. Concrete and steel groaned before the structure gave way, collapsing into the canal below.
Samuel flapped his wings furiously, shaking off the debris as he climbed into the sky. With a menacing snarl, he dove, talons outstretched, aiming for the viper's head.
At the last second, the serpent reared back, its jaws unhinging. With a hiss that sent shockwaves through the air, it struck; burying its fangs the size of lampposts into Samuel's shoulder, injecting acidic venom into his veins.
He roared in pain and retaliated, slashing his claws across the viper's face and body. Scales shattered, as black ichor oozed from the snake's wounds.
Samuel then roared loudly as he willed his very blood to dilute the acidic venom in his veins before it could do further damage. He then waited a few seconds for his regeneration to kick in and heal his damaged shoulder.
The battle promptly resumed but that part of the city had really suffered in their wake. The streets were littered with overturned buses and crushed vehicles, their alarms wailing uselessly.
The Civilians fled; their screams drowned out by the creatures' roars as the battle got closer to them. Police and present military forces had long abandoned their futile attempts at interfering with the battle, not to talk of stopping it—nothing short of a nuclear strike would probably end it.
Fortunately for them, the dragon fighting the giant black snake appeared to be on their side and with the direction the battle was going, they had hope of coming out on top.
Samuel flapped higher into the sky and sucked in a deep breath; his chest expanding. He then unleashed a blast of fire so intense that the asphalt beneath it melted into molten slag. The viper had no time to react; the flames engulfed it, scorching its dark hide.
For a moment, silence fell. Everyone wondered if the snake had finally kicked the bucket, but things rarely are that easy.
From within the inferno, the viper suddenly lunged at Samuel; blackened, smoking, bleeding, but still alive. Its tail whipped around, striking Samuel's neck with the force of a wrecking ball.
His head snapped sideways, and with a thunderous crash, he smashed into the ruins of a shopping district. The viper wasted no time; slithering forward, ready to deliver the killing blow but Samuel was not finished.
"Enough!!" he shouted, a shockwave spreading out, destroying his surroundings. His eyes glowed, his anger surging as his body glowed and doubled in size; now towering over the snake. He sank the claws of one hand into the head of the snake and flew it high into the sky.
Once he was high enough, he pried the snake's mouth open with his other hand, and with a loud roar, blasted a torrent of concentrated crimson flames directly into the mouth of the snake, burning it from within. The snake cried out loudly in pain as it was literally cooked from the inside out.
It wiggled violently as it burned alive, trying to free itself but to no avail. A few seconds later, it went limp; the last embers of its life leaving its eyes.
Samuel let out one final victorious roar as he let the still burning corpse of the snake fall back down hard upon the ruins of the battle field. The battle had ended, but the city would never be the same. The titanic struggle had left only ruin in its wake—a testament to the raw, primal power of creatures beyond human control.
