Dave had then stood from his position, his movements were fluid and deliberate, as he turned to face Jackie and the rest of the group, who were now standing back on their feet.
"Reward these men awesomely," he said, his voice filled with conviction. "They did their jobs right. Despite seeing how outnumbered they are, they didn't back away or give in. Instead, they decided to fight and defend against the base until reinforcement comes."
As Dave spoke, a hint of a smile played on his lips, and his eyes sparkled with approval. "Also, if they want it, they can be promoted to whatever position they want," he continued. "But having them as the guards gives me assurance that we're safe from any threat that might try to invade our faction in the future."
