Inside the first version of the Level Up Pod.
Kael watched as intense light engulfed his vision. He had to close and squint his eyes a few times just to barely adjust to the brightness.
Once he could somewhat make out what was happening, Kael began observing the process of his Level Up. He looked toward the ceiling and saw particles drifting down from the small holes above.
Then came the sound of gears turning—followed by the crackle of electricity.
Kael looked down and saw that he was now submerged in a pool of white liquid. It had risen to his stomach and was steadily climbing to his chest with no sign of stopping.
Clearly, this liquid was one of the reasons behind a Primer's Level Up. Kael still didn't know exactly what it was, but after a bit of thought, he came up with a theory.
