The registration was simple.
Each student was given their own home to live in. This was because of the presence of beasts. If too many were thrown into the same dorm, then there would be no place for the beasts that the tamers had bonded with.
So, each student would have their own house, but the size and facilities provided would differ based on their rank in the exam. The top students in the year would get the best areas.
This is not permanent, of course. There are rankings. For now, that is based on the exam we took in the secret realm, but that will change later on.
There are always competitions held in the academy. It is not compulsory to participate in these competitions, but from what Selina told me, there is a minimum of two participations per year. This is not same for all academies, but it was said that a minimum number of partcipations was required from the students.
The reason why it is not mandatory is because of resources.
