But now, with the other side actively seeking a partnership, the president couldn't help but feel elated.
Noticing the president's expression, Luo Yuan smiled faintly.

Kanto's communication infrastructure was outdated, and the region's residents were eager to upgrade their devices.

The moment he entered, he saw a group of Psychic trainees intently focusing on their spoons, attempting to bend them using psychic energy.
When they noticed Luo Yuan, the trainees quickly stood and greeted him—not with respect, but with a hint of trepidation.
"My trainees are becoming more afraid of you than they are of me," Sabrina said with a smirk, swirling the wine in her glass.
Luo Yuan shrugged. "What can I say? To them, I'm your boyfriend, after all."
The Psychic trainees at the gym had a complicated relationship with Sabrina.
On one hand, her unparalleled psychic abilities were something they deeply admired.
On the other, her reputation for turning people into dolls and controlling them with her psychic powers filled them with dread.
Given these mixed feelings, the fact that Luo Yuan could be her boyfriend—and even make Sabrina surprisingly agreeable—made him seem anything but normal in their eyes.
Sabrina rolled her eyes before changing the topic. "Is everything settled with Kalos?"
Although Luo Yuan didn't think much of it, many Team Rocket executives, including Sabrina, considered establishing a new branch in Kalos to be the organization's most significant endeavor since the Mewtwo Project.
"Everything went smoothly," Luo Yuan replied. "If there are no surprises, the remnants of Team Flare will be fully integrated soon, and the Kalos branch will be operational."
"It's hard to believe... Team Flare was dismantled just like that," Sabrina said, a touch of amazement in her tone.
Team Flare might not have been as influential as Team Rocket, but it was still a large organization. To see it crumble so quickly was shocking.
However, she didn't dwell on the topic for long. "Speaking of which, when are you heading to Johto?"
As both a Team Rocket executive and a Gym Leader, Sabrina was well aware that Koga had already gone to Johto with Lance a few days earlier to get acclimated.
Lance had originally wanted Luo Yuan to join them, but at the time, Luo Yuan was tied up in a meeting at Lysandre Labs.
Sabrina had covered for him, allowing him to delay his departure.
"I could leave anytime," Luo Yuan replied with a smile. "But would you miss me?"
"Not at all," Sabrina said flatly. She paused briefly, as if expecting Luo Yuan to look surprised, but when his expression didn't change, she sighed.
"I've already handed the gym over to my father. I'm coming with you to Johto. Giovanni will ensure everything runs smoothly here."
Luo Yuan was momentarily surprised but quickly nodded in understanding.
It wasn't the first time Sabrina had left the Saffron Gym in her father's care.
This time, the arrangement might last a little longer, but with Giovanni overseeing things, there was no risk of issues arising.
What pleased Luo Yuan most was that having Sabrina accompany him to Johto meant he could rely on her for his daily tasks once he became an Elite Four.
Unbeknownst to Sabrina, she was about to become his go-to assistant. Oblivious to her impending role, she shifted the conversation to Misty.
"Misty probably won't be able to join us in Johto. Her three sisters aren't exactly the most reliable people to leave the Cerulean Gym with."
"Thankfully, Johto isn't far from Kanto. Misty said she'd visit whenever she gets the chance."
Luo Yuan nodded. Misty's sisters were indeed a handful.
If Misty remained determined to revive the Cerulean Gym's reputation, she wouldn't have much free time in the near future.
Which wasn't necessarily a bad thing. As Johto's soon-to-be Elite Four, it wouldn't look great if he were constantly seen with two Gym Leader girlfriends.
Additionally, it meant he wouldn't have to expend extra effort hiding his Team Rocket-related activities from Misty while in Johto.
Petting his Sylveon absentmindedly, Luo Yuan suddenly remembered that he had yet to claim his Indigo Plateau Championship rewards.
"It's been so long since my last draw, I almost forgot about it," he muttered, shaking his head.
Leaning against Sabrina's lap, Luo Yuan adjusted to a comfortable position and activated the lottery system.
