The two sat on the couch, taking turns discussing. Half an hour later, there was a noise outside the villa; clearly, Song You had arrived.
As soon as Song You entered the villa, she ran straight to Xu Jinzhi and bombarded her with questions.
Xu Jinzhi first addressed some of Song You's concerns, then interrupted her, "Let's eat first, and we can chat after the meal!"
Song You was taken aback and then immediately realized what Xu Jinzhi meant, saying with some annoyance, "Why were you waiting for me? What if you starved my goddaughter to death?"
"You said you were coming over, what's wrong with waiting for you a while?" Xu Jinzhi replied.
As for the goddaughter...
Xu Jinzhi chuckled to herself, thinking it was not a goddaughter but a godson; for a goddaughter, they would have to wait a few more years.
Song You glared at Xu Jinzhi, "Who cares about you waiting for me? Don't do such foolish things in the future. If my goddaughter goes hungry, I won't let you off the hook!"
