No sooner had they made plans than Ye Qiongfang, accompanied by a servant, brought out some fruit from the kitchen.
"Ningning, have some fruit," Yubai called out.
Shen Yubai responded, "Thank you, Aunt Ye."
With a smile, Ye Qiongfang asked, "Do you want to watch some TV?"
Xu Chuning nodded, "Sure."
With the television on, the room felt livelier.
Though Xu Chuning and Ye Qiongfang were quite familiar with each other, the topics they could chat about were still limited.
After Shen Yubai arrived, the one who conversed more with Ye Qiongfang turned out to be him.
Listening to their conversation, Xu Chuning glanced at the person next to her.
Sensing her gaze, Shen Yubai looked over with raised eyebrows and teased, "What's up?"
Xu Chuning just shook her head lightly.
After sitting with them for a while, Ye Qiongfang headed back to the kitchen to get busy; she wanted to personally make a meal for Xu Chuning, with the servant assisting, of course.
