She let the silence linger uninterrupted until Elias gained control of himself.
"I want to ask of something, and it might seem like disrespect, but I can assure you it isn't meant like that, and I do hope for your forgiveness," Elias began, drawing Asteralaxia's attention.
"Ask away. If I deem it senseless, I will simply ignore it," she said, resulting in a swallow from Elias before he regained confidence.
"Is it possible for us to request some sort of proof of your statements? All of this, you know, is your word— which might not be enough for us to place trust in, especially when considering the millions of lives of the various races that will depend on these words you've spoken."
