Chapter 103 - Chapter 103: “The Thread That Cannot Be Cut”

Jin stood beneath the celestial throne of Nyx, the Primordial Goddess of Night. Around him, galaxies pulsed and flickered within the temple's vast black void. Time slowed. Space folded inward. Here, the veil between truth and illusion was thinner than breath.

Nyx sat silently for a moment, her midnight-colored eyes watching him as if seeing through lifetimes. Then, she raised her hand.

"You seek the truth,"You seek Lia. But truth is not a gift—it is a burden. One even gods fear, Jin. So I will grant it… But know this: once truth is seen, it cannot be unseen."

Jin's hands clenched into fists. "I've come too far to turn away now. So please tell me."

Nyx gave a slow nod and smiled.

Nyx's temple was wrapped in a cold silence, ancient and eternal. The air was thick, not with malice—but with warning. Shadows curled around the dark marble columns as if they were listening.

Nyx stood tall, her presence veiled in divine serenity. The goddess of night looked down at Jin, her voice echoing like ripples across a still lake.

"Are you ready to learn the truth?"

Jin didn't flinch. "Yes. I have to know everything… about Lia. About me. About this world."

Her eyes dimmed, as if she mourned what she was about to say.

"Then speak the riddle that brought you here."

Jin stepped forward, heart pounding, and recited:

"A fate intertwined, a soul misplaced,

Seek the past where light has traced.

A mirror broken, yet truth remains,

In echoes lost beyond the plains."

Nyx closed her eyes, breathing in deeply. She spoke with unnerving clarity.

"A fate intertwined"—two lives bound across worlds.

"A soul misplaced"—someone was never meant to be here.

"Seek the past where light has traced"—the truth lies in what has already happened, in a forgotten light.

"A mirror broken, yet truth remains"—an identity shattered, but the essence remains.

"Echoes lost beyond the plains"—souls cast across space… or reality itself.

Then her eyes opened—cold, full of pity.

"The girl you call Lia… does not belong to this world."

The words hit Jin like a spear.

"She is a soul from another universe," Nyx continued. "Dragged here by forces unknown—no, worse. Forces that knew exactly what they were doing."

Jin's lips parted. "But why…? Why her?"

Nyx turned her back to him. "I cannot say more. Not yet. But understand this: her presence was not chance. Nor fate. It was an opening in the fabric of reality—one that even I could not predict."

Jin took a step forward, but her voice sharpened.

"Enough."

He froze.

"You seek truth… but truth has its price. Before you ask more, you must understand something far greater. Something beyond even Lia."

Nyx lifted her hand. A dark crystal orb materialized, glowing with an unnatural light.

"This is the memory of the Absolute Line."

Jin furrowed his brows. "The what?"

She turned to face him again, her expression grim.

"The Absolute Line. It is not fate. Not prophecy. It is the immutable law—the invisible thread that governs all existence. It is why the stars are born and why they die. Why Lia came here. Why you were chosen. It cannot be defied or shatter… not even by me."

She offered the orb.

"Touch it. And see."

Jin hesitated—but then, with trembling fingers, touched the crystal.

And the world around him exploded into chaos.

He saw everything.

—A ritual beneath Olympus, cloaked in shadows.

—Gaia whispering to the gods.

—Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades nodding in grim agreement.

—A glowing thread connecting his soul and Lia's, being pulled by unseen hands.

—Lia screaming, confused, lost—dragged into a world not her own.

—His life, shaped, altered, forced.

All for one purpose:

To mold Jin Shang into something greater. To make him into a Primordial God.

But as a pawn. A product. A tool.

When Jin's consciousness returned, he was on his knees. Blood trickled from his nose. His hands were shaking.

And his heart burned.

"They lied to me, They never mentioned to me." he whispered.

Nyx remained silent.

"They used me… used her… to create their god."

A silence fell, heavy and suffocating.

Then, his whisper turned into a snarl.

"I'll kill them all. Yes I will. Just wait for me you traitors."

His aura flared—unlike anything he had ever felt before. Dark, divine, relentless.

Nyx looked at him, almost with sorrow.

"Your path has been written by the Absolute Line, Jin Shang. But whether you walk it willingly or set it ablaze… that is your choice."
