The Illusory Venomous Man-Eating Plant was personally raised by the God of Death.
However, the thought processes of plants and animals are fundamentally different.
The Illusory Venomous Man-Eating Plant has only one simple instinct: to devour whatever it identifies as food, regardless of its origin.
The God of Death spent a century raising the plant, eventually increasing its level to Level 101, surpassing the critical threshold of Level 100.
However, for the Illusory Venomous Man-Eating Plant to grow further, it must consume entities at Level 100 or higher.
Shalltear, being a Level 100 entity, was an incredibly rare and valuable meal.
Despite the searing pain from Shalltear's fire magic, the plant endured.
The prey in its mouth was simply too precious to let go.
Shalltear poured all her remaining mana into relentless fire magic attacks.
Although fire was effective against the plant, its vitality was extraordinary, and the magic couldn't reach its core to deal fatal damage.
"Cleansing Throwing Lance!" Shalltear activated her unique skill.
The attack penetrated the plant's defenses, but she only had two uses of this skill, and the damage wasn't sufficient.
Moreover, the Illusory Venomous Man-Eating Plant had an astonishing regeneration ability.
The wounds Shalltear inflicted healed almost instantly, the process clearly visible to the naked eye.
"Unholy Shield Impact!" Shalltear unleashed another skill, sending a powerful shockwave into the plant's stomach.
However, it still refused to release her.
Its jaws remained locked firmly around her, relentless and unyielding.
Bound tightly by the plant's tendrils, Shalltear couldn't even lift her weapon.
Struggling against the suffocating grip seemed futile, yet she continued to resist with all her strength.
By now, Shalltear's armor had been completely dissolved by the corrosive fluids of the plant.
Her lower clothing had also been entirely eaten away, leaving her in a vulnerable and exposed state.
She was now entirely at the mercy of the monstrous plant, her situation growing increasingly desperate.

Pandora's Entry into the Jungle
As Pandora stepped into the strange jungle, he noticed countless butterflies fluttering about.
Each butterfly's wings were adorned with bewitching, vibrant patterns.
A few butterflies landed near him, but Pandora ignored them and continued walking forward.
Based on his calculations, Shalltear had fallen in a straight-ahead direction.
However, as he moved deeper into the jungle, Pandora began to notice something unusual—the plants and the ground seemed to twist and distort unnaturally.
Slowly, his vision began to spin and blur.
"This... those butterflies were poisonous!" Pandora realized the truth with a grimace.
He hadn't expected to encounter a toxin potent enough to affect him.
In the game, poison was generally considered a low-tier mechanic, not something worthy of concern.
But this jungle was different.
Everything here was the result of the God of Death's personal research into poisons.
Whenever the God of Death discovered a new venomous creature or substance, he would release it into this jungle.
Over time, countless toxic species were introduced, but only three toxins survived and dominated this ecosystem:
Phantom Ghost Butterflies : These butterflies are not physically powerful, but their poison is both odorless and colorless, and frighteningly effective. Even the formidable Illusory Venomous Man-Eating Plant avoids provoking them.
Illusory Venomous Man-Eating Plant : Known for its hallucinogenic abilities and devastating physical prowess.
Nether Poison Thorns : These thorny vines work in tandem with the Phantom Ghost Butterflies. Once the butterflies incapacitate their prey, the vines inject their toxic essence, dissolving unwanted impurities and leaving only the nutrients they desire.
Pandora, though immobilized, had not completely lost consciousness.
He could clearly feel the creeping vines inching toward him.
He desperately wanted to stand up and burn the vines to ash, but his body refused to obey.
"Is this the end? It seems... this is where I fall." Pandora whispered his final words before succumbing to unconsciousness.

Outside the Jungle
Meanwhile, Peroroncino and the others had entered the jungle.
The difference between the exterior and the interior was stark.
Upon stepping in, everyone immediately felt a peculiar sensation, as if their bodies had become light and airy, almost as though they were intoxicated.
This illusion of relaxation was, in fact, the result of their nervous systems being numbed by toxic spores in the air.
However, Momonga was entirely unaffected.
Being an undead skeleton, he did not need to breathe.
The poisonous spores that entered his nasal cavity simply drifted back out from his hollow bones without taking effect.
"Mare, use Purification!" Bukubukuchagama immediately sensed something was wrong.
Mare cast the Purification spell, and the unsettling sensation everyone felt disappeared momentarily, only to return shortly after.
"Spirit of Protection!" Mare followed up with another spell, causing a green aura to envelop everyone.
This skill was supposed to shield them from the poisonous gas, but it faded away in less than five seconds, a clear sign of just how potent the toxins in this jungle were.
"10th-Tier Magic: Isolation!" Bukubukuchagama cast a powerful spell, creating a large cubic barrier that enclosed the group.
"10th-Tier Magic: Attribute Conversion!" Bukubukuchagama used another spell, cleansing the poison within the cubic barrier.
"Is this an original spell?" Momonga asked as he observed the unique magic.
"Yes! I developed it myself when I ventured alone into the ruins of the Eight Greed Kings," Bukubukuchagama replied.
"Big Sis is amazing!" Peroroncino exclaimed sincerely.
"Of course! How else could I be your big sister if I weren't amazing?" Bukubukuchagama beamed with pride.
It's natural to feel happy when receiving praise from others, but hearing such words from someone truly important made her overjoyed.
The group pressed forward, maintaining a strategic formation:
Sebas led the way at the front.
Aura walked slightly behind and to Sebas's side, ready to provide support with three of her strongest pets.
Cocytus followed directly behind Sebas, prepared to assist in battle immediately if needed.
In the center, Peroroncino and Momonga maintained their positions as long-range combatants, ensuring protection from the heart of the formation.
At the rear, Mare and Bukubukuchagama covered the group's back, prepared for potential ambushes.
Bukubukuchagama's true form was that of a Slime Tank.
To this day, she still couldn't understand what had possessed her to choose such a form back in the game.
For now, however, she maintained her appearance as a red-haired human woman, which did nothing to compromise her combat prowess or her incredible durability.
When it came to tanking damage, Bukubukuchagama was undoubtedly one of the best in Nazarick.
After all, tank players were extremely rare, and even among the Supreme Beings of Ainz Ooal Gown, only five players specialized in tanking.
Bukubukuchagama stood proudly as one of the best.
There was once an incident where Bukubukuchagama single-handedly held off eight max-level players for ten minutes.
At the time, the other guild members believed she had already fallen in battle.
But against all odds, she endured.
This feat earned her the utmost respect from her peers.
For a tank to achieve such a remarkable accomplishment was nothing short of extraordinary.
