It was the cave where Fang Buping and the others performed rituals, originally an underground tomb, which was excavated and emptied over a decade ago by the previous White Tiger Saintess, leaving behind an empty cavern. Zhao Changhe had spent time there when he first arrived; it was devoid of contents, and when he later became the Village Chief, he had already repurposed the place as a storage area.
Such places, extensively explored by the sect and even having their floor tiles dug up, true excavation of three feet deep, indeed had nothing left behind.
The gold, silver, precious items, and cultivation techniques obtained from the tomb would have significantly strengthened the Four Symbols Sect, and records from ancient times were also extremely significant. According to San Niang, the previous generation of the Four Symbols Sect wasn't impressive, but they've grown strong over these past dozen years, largely related to this.
