Dubian Che looked at Mayi Asuka in disbelief, not a trace of panic or resentment in his demeanor as he let go of his hold.
Dubian Che stepped back, leaned against the wall and sat on the tatami, gazing at Mayi Asuka who was coughing and breathing in the fresh air.
"I really could have died just now, why didn't you resist?"
"Che," Mayi Asuka lay on the floor, staring at the ceiling, spoke softly without moving, "Strangling leaves marks, I stayed here, waiting for you to get the amber alkaline."
Dubian Che's throat suddenly turned sour.
He hurriedly took a deep breath to hold back the bitter emotions.
After a long while.
"I lost, senior," he thought he had controlled his emotions, but his voice still carried a hint of hoarseness.
Mayi Asuka turned over, knelt down and slowly crawled over.
At a close distance, she tilted her face up slightly, her eyes now clear and fixated on Dubian Che.
"If I have to leave Che, I would rather die now," she said blandly yet tenderly.
