Today was the first day of December, and Xu Shu was relatively stable.
Not only had he received a substantial reward of Erosion Crystals, but his three consecutive expeditions also yielded reasonably good rewards.
During the first round, things initially went smoothly, relatively smoothly. He set up a base at a bunker to the west of coordinates (18,19), then headed north into the wilderness. Before long, he encountered four Alien Species engaged in battle, one side insect-like resembling mantises; the other side was a more disgusting humanoid shape resembling Rat-men.
As they were engrossed in battle, Xu Shu decisively struck, taking on four at once without fear; he ambushed them and earned four Erosion Crystals.
Unfortunately, because things started out too smoothly, Xu Shu chose to bravely continue forward. After a return trip to confirm the path was safe, he set out again to explore, attempting to reach a small hill ten kilometers away.
