After quickly recording the cubs' data, Chen Ying picked up a flashlight and swept it over the dark hole next to him.
The hole seemed just large enough for Lady Leopard's head to fit through.
Thinking it over, Chen Ying ran outside to look around and found a suitably sized rock to block about three-quarters of the hole. He made it fairly secure, fearing that the little leopards might play with the stone and hurt themselves.
If it wasn't blocked, he also worried the playful cubs might roll into the hole and become hard to find.
Thankfully, the small hole was in a corner with sufficiently wide space nearby for Lady Leopard and her family to rest and move about easily.
The entrance of the den, concealed by vines, was not particularly large; at least it wasn't possible to walk in standing up, Chen Ying had to crawl in to plug the small hole.
