When the New Strategy Group landed in Spring Sun City on griffins, they naturally attracted a lot of attention.
Griffins, after all, are not easy to care for. Not only are they ferocious and often hurt people, but they also require dedicated caretakers for their food and drink to prevent them from falling ill in minutes.
Strangely enough, griffins with the ability to fly at high speeds should be in excellent health and not prone to sickness. Eventually, someone discovered that they were only "pretending" to be ill as a way to protest to their keepers, demanding better food and living conditions.
This behavior only happens with domesticated griffins, since wild griffins can't find wild humans to take care of them.
