Chapter 45 - Confession

The evening had settled into a peaceful stillness, the only sound in Milo's apartment being the soft ticking of the clock on the wall. Victor and Milo sat close together on the couch, the warmth between the palpable. They had spent hours talking, sharing everything from trivial anecdotes to deeper reflections. It felt like the world outside had faded away, leaving only the two of them in this little corner of the time.

Victor was sitting on the edge of the couch, his hand resting on the armrest, but his attention was focused entirely on Milo. He could feel the electricity in the air, the unspoken desire building between them, but he didn't rush. He didn't want to make any moves until Milo was ready, but the way Milo's eyes lingered on him, soft yet full of emotion, made it clear that the moment was approaching.

Milo turned his head slowly to look at Victor, his heart pounding. It wasn't just the proximity that made his breath catch; it was the way Victor had been looking at him all evening, as if he saw right through to the parts of Milo that he kept hidden–his fears, his hopes, his deep need for connection.

"Victor," Milo whispered, his voice barely more than a breath.

Victor's lips curled into a soft smile. He didn't say anything at first, simply leaned closer, closing the gap between them. Milo's pulse quickened, but instead of pulling back, he let himself be drawn in. The space between them was filled with everything unspoken: trust, longing, and the kind of quiet understanding that only built up over time.

Victor's hand reached out slowly, finger brushing against Milo's cheek. The touch was gentle, as though testing the waters, making sure that Milo was comfortable. BUt when Milo didn't pull away, Victor allowed himself to move closer, his face just inches from Milo's.

"I want to make you feel something," Victor murmured, his lips brushing against Milo's ear, sending a shiver down his spine. "Something real."

Milo closed his eyes, a soft sigh escaping his lips as Victor's breath mingled with his own. It felt so right, so natural, and yet his mind raced with uncertainty. But Victor's presence, the quiet reassurance in his touch, kept him grounded. He nodded, unsure if he could trust his own words at that moment, but trusting Victor completely.

Victor's hand slid down to rest gently on Milo's neck, his thumb tracing a small circles on the skin there. Milo's breath hitched, his body instinctively leaning into the touch. The way Victor's fingers lingered, so tender yet possessive, made his chest tighten with an unfamiliar, heady mixture of desire and vulnerability.

"I want you bare. Can I?" Victor asked softly, his voice low and steady, searching Milo's face for any hesitation.

Milo's eyes fluttered open, meeting Victor's gaze. There was something there, something in Victor's eyes that made him feel safe despite the rush of emotions swirling inside him. He could feel the warmth of Victor's palm against his skin, the beat of his heart in sync with his own.

"Mmmmm, You can," Milo whispered, his voice trembling. He leaned in, slowly, almost cautiously, but there was no mistaking the hunger in his actions. He closed the distance between them, his lips finding Victor's in a kiss that was gentle at first, a quiet exploration of their newfound closeness.

Victor deepened the kiss almost immediately, his hands moving to Milo's back, pulling him closer. The heat between them intensified, their bodies pressing together as if drawn by some magnetic force. Milo's hands found their way to Victor's shirt, his fingers trembling as he slipped them underneath the fabric. The sensation of Victor's skin against his was electric, and he couldn't suppress the soft moan that escaped him.

Victor responded by pulling Milo even closer, his mouth trailing down Milo's neck as his hands slid to the waistband of Milo's pants, hesitating just for a moment before gently tugging them off. Every movement was slow, deliberate, as though he wanted to savor this moment, to make sure Milo felt every ounce of the affection and desire he was pouring into him.

Milo's breath caught as Victor's lips trailed lower, his hands still exploring Milo's body with a mixture of tenderness and want. He felt the knot in his stomach tighten, a blend of anticipation and longing that he had never experienced before. And yet, it wasn't just the physical sensation that made his chest ache–it was the emotional weight of the moment, the connection they were sharing that was so much deeper than anything physical.

"Victor," Milo gasped, his hands finding their way to Victor's chest, pushing him back just slightly so that he could look into his eyes. He saw only warmth and affection there, not a trace of impatience, only the certainty that this moment, this connection, was something they both needed.

Victor stopped, his breathing shallow, and for a moment, everything felt suspended in time. "Are you okay, Milo?" he asked, his voice low and steady, as if giving Milo the choice, the freedom to stop if he wasn't ready.

Milo nodded, his heart pounding in his chest. "I'm okay," he whispered, his voice steady now, filled with more confidence. He leaned in kissed Victor again, this time with more urgency, his hands moving over Victor's body as if memorizing every inch of him.

Their kiss deepened, a tangle of hands and lips and bodies, until finally, with one swift motion, Victor gently laid Milo back on couch. He hovered above him for a moment, searching his eyes for any sign of doubt, but there was none. THere was only a shared desire, a shared connection that beyond anything either of them had ever known.

The rest of the world faded away, leaving only the two of them in this quiet, intimate space. Time slowed, and every touch, every kiss, every whispered word felt like a promise–a promise of something real, something lasting, something more than either of them had ever hoped for.

As the night deepened, MIlo and Victor found something new in each other–not just desire, but trust, understanding, and a love that had been waiting to bloom all along.
