Meanwhile, James observed Blade and the others with newfound understanding. 'So this is how he met all these powerful NPCs,' he thought. Unlike most players who treated NPCs as mere game mechanics, Blade interacted with them as real people.

"I actually came here to notify you about the National Competition," James said, watching Blade's reaction.
"It will take place in three months in South Korea, and I've already put your name in it," he continued. Blade raised an eyebrow at that.
"Though, you'll have to qualify first along with others to secure your place in the competition. That's how strong the competition is," James added. Blade nodded in understanding.
"Actually, SA contacted me about the competition," Blade said, recalling an email he had read a few hours ago. They had reached out to him regarding a special event that was originally supposed to take place during the third National Competition—the Demon King Raid event. But with him now being the Demon King, the situation had clearly changed.
"What? Why?" James exclaimed, clearly surprised.
"I can't say," Blade responded, shaking his head.
"But I am participating in the competition," he added.
James nodded. "That's good anyway," he said, though curiosity still lingered. He wanted to ask more but figured SA might have placed Blade under a non-disclosure agreement, so he kept his mouth shut.
"By the way, if you want to ask anything, feel free to ask me. We still have two and a half months to prepare for the competition. I can help you with power leveling," James said.
Blade shook his head. "I'm good."
"Though, I do want to ask—have you heard about the Sun Sword?"
"I have," James replied, just as Valentine turned to look at him.
"Where is it?" she asked before Blade could even get the question out.
"Is that sword important? If I remember correctly, it was trash compared to its rating of Legendary," James said casually.
Valentine quickly answered, "It's sealed. No one can use its power aside from Blade."
James raised an eyebrow before reaching into his inventory. "Oh, this thing?" he muttered as he took out a sword.
"That's the Sun Sword," he said, revealing a beautifully crafted blade. It shone brilliantly, with golden engravings running along the length of the blade, and its hilt bore an intricate sun pattern.
" you can have it if you want" he said giving it to Blade who looked at it " I thought I have to do a lot of Quest to get it" he mumbled as he inspected it first.
