Looking at Goku's lost look, Tien felt he should be a bit more specific and explained the details about the cave.
"This should be a big cave, filled with all kinds of riches."
"Gold, jewelry, antiques, and gems. Everything was in this cave."
"Currently I am planning to build a kingdom, and I am in need of some money."
"If you remember where this cave is at, can you point me towards it?"
Tien finally asked for directions, and Goku frowned thoughtfully. He did remember seeing something like that.
He remembered it was a pirate cave, and the Red Ribbon Army was around that area as well. He had met General Blue there.
He scratched his head and tried to recall where that place was. Then patted his palm with wide eyes.
"I remember; that cave is underwater."
Goku told Tien its location.
"If you keep going in that direction, you will reach it after 15 minutes."
"But it's underwater, so you might miss it if you are not careful."
Goku pointed east and gave a vague description. But this was enough for Tien; he had a way to find that place now.
Tien was thankful to Goku. He put a map marker on the area Goku was talking about and put the phone back into his pocket.
Patting Goku on the shoulder, Tien thanked him sincerely. Goku's help was much appreciated by him.
"Thanks for telling me the treasure cave's location, Goku."
Tien smiled gently.
"You are a lifesaver; this treasure will be helpful for building my Triclops kingdom."
"Please come to visit when you have time. I would love to show you around the place."
Goku grinned and laughed cheerfully; he was always happy to help. Tien also laughed along; he too was in a happy mood.
"What are you guys talking about?"
When suddenly, a woman's voice came from Goku's house.
"I heard you guys talking about a treasure cave?"
"Can you tell me what this is all about?"
Goku's wife, Chichi, came out of the house with a curious expression; she had a strong look of interest in her eyes.
She had just put Gohan to sleep when she heard Goku talk about a treasure cave. She couldn't help but come out.
Walking up to the two men, Chichi tied her hair and smiled at Tien, then turned towards Goku and repeated her question.
"So, what's this I hear about a treasure?"
Tien smiled along but cursed at her inwardly. Chichi seemed heavily interested in this treasure; this might be a problem.
Goku didn't notice the strong look of interest in his wife's eyes and explained what he had told Tien.
"I was telling Tien about this cave I had found, when fighting the Red Ribbon Army."
"It was filled with gold and stuff; Tien wanted to know where it was, so I told him."
Goku grinned and told their conversation to his wife. Chichi was still smiling but had a twitching eye.
She tried hard to maintain her gentleness before Tien but felt furious knowing what Goku had just done.
"But Goku, we also need money."
Chichi said as gently as possible.
"Father's money will run out sooner or later, and you don't do any work."
"We need money for Gohan's studies. Can you take half of this treasure?"
"Tien wouldn't mind, right? He wouldn't have found this cave without you."
Chichi looked at Tien; she hoped Tien would agree to share the loot. But before Tien could say something, Goku spoke.
"What? I can't take half; I just gave it to Tien."
Goku shook his head seriously.
"And that's not our money; I will not take it."
"We will figure something out for Gohan later."
Goku had a pure sense of morality. He couldn't take someone's money if he didn't think he had earned it.
Even if Chichi wanted to do this, he would not agree to such a thing. It just didn't feel right to Goku.
Seeing her husband refuse the treasure, which was rightfully his, Chichi felt her veins throb with anger.
She loved Goku, but his pure nature did not suit a princess like her. She was used to riches and wealth, not poverty.
What bothered her the most was that they'll run out of saved money sooner or later. What will Gohan do by then?
"But Goku, what about Gohan's college money? He will need it one day."
Chichi said, while thinking about 20 years into the future.
"We have a lot of time until college, Chichi. We will figure something out."
Goku did not budge on this; he just smiled and held Chichi's shoulder. Chichi sighed and smiled wryly.
This was a gentle scene, but Tien's sly eyes saw an opportunity. Chichi was clearly unhappy with losing money.
Tien felt he could take advantage of this.
He was going to copy Frieza's empire, so his kingdom will eventually need its own Ginyu Force and henchman.
Tien needed some strong men who could work under him, and Goku was a good candidate for a henchman.
Although Goku himself would never agree to this, he'll think it's pointless. But what if Chichi forced him to join Tien?
"If you guys need money, I have a suggestion."
Tien smiled gently and wove a trap for Chichi.
"As I said, I am building a new kingdom and will be its king."
"I have a lot of jobs open for taking. Goku can work for me if he wants."
"I will pay him well; your family can own land and a mansion there."
Tien didn't need to promise much before Chichi's eyes glowed. She ran up and held Tien's hand with a wide smile.
"Really? We will take it; Goku agrees to work."
Shaking Tien's hand repeatedly, Chichi frantically gestured to Goku.
"Goku quickly agree, We need to get you a job."
Regardless of Chichi's immense happiness, Goku was not too enthusiastic. He rubbed his head unsurely.
"I don't know, Chichi; work will cut my training time short."
Goku said with some hesitation,
"And if we stay in a new land, we'll have to move from here."
"I don't want to move away; this place is near my grandpa's home."
Chichi turned white when her husband once again denied a chance to get rich.
She squeezed her fist while looking at Goku.
Tien backed away slightly. The way Chichi was acting, a fight might break out between Goku and her.
