Aria looked into Max's eyes, her gaze calm but resolute. She had seen through him completely—the boiling tension in his aura, the unrelenting killing intent in his posture, the way his hand subtly gripped his sword even as he stood still.
He was on the edge. One more reason—just one—and he would unleash everything he had and paint the ground with their blood.
She sighed softly. Things had truly spiraled far beyond what she'd hoped when they first entered the citadel. She never wanted it to come to this.
"Let's make a deal," she said suddenly, her voice clear.
"What? A deal?" Just then Elias stood up in shock. His body was still in pain but that didn't matter as the current situation wanted his utmost attention.
"We can't kill him. he is too strong. So a mutual deal is our best choice here." Aria said though voice transmission.
Elias' face changed several times before he nodded. "Fine."
