"What is it? You have been staring at me since we left the room. If you want to go back to your lady, I suggest you don't. They are enjoying themselves now," Francesca said, knowing she wouldn't see Selene for a while.
"I do not have anything to say. I have always left when I think those two want to be alone. You are quite bold. You pushed Lord Blackthorn inside the room. For as long as I have been here, I have not seen anyone do that," said Agnes.
"Why would he be against it when I just dressed up Selene to his liking? Lord Blackthorn scares me, but I have learned there are some moments when you can be daring, and he will not be angry," Francesca replied.
"Are those moments concerning my lady?" Agnes asked.
Francesca nodded her head. "They are. My husband and Lord Blackthorn get along, but I think Xavier has become closer now that I am friends with Selene. Don't worry about me being friends to get closer to Xavier. I don't want any kind of business with him."
