Arsonny's face contorted as he focused on the red flames covering the tree. But no matter what he tried to do, he was unable to move or control his own Aubility, as if it had been cut off from his control completely!
"NO! You're not supposed to overpower my Aubility!" Arsonny complained.
He was in the 3rd stage of Body Formation, just a half-step into the next stage. He just needed to surgically implant a new GodForge piece into his body before he could transcend to the 4th stage.
Meanwhile, the golden-haired boy was clearly only in the 2nd stage. His Aubility was not supposed to affect an Aubility that was already in the 3rd stage. That was impossible!
Yet, Michael's switch stopped it all the same.
Indignant, Arsonny commanded the rest of the trees to pierce through Michael, hoping that one of them would be able to defeat the anomalous boy.
