The maid was initially blinded by her lust. She failed to realize how dark Cedric's face was until the sharp, agonizing pain pierced through her body, snapping her from her trance-like state. She was imagining all the wealth and power that comes with being his mistress.
She wasn't greedy and knew being a wife and concubine might be much to ask for. "Ahhh," she tried to scream, but her voice couldn't even reach what was considered a scream. She could barely whimper in his grasp, she fell on her knees, basically crawling with her eyes beading with tears.
"It hurts," she whimpered, feeling her bones being crushed by his grip. The dream she had earlier started falling apart. Cedric was truly amazed at her foolishness, his face twisting in disgust.
His grip tightened, feeling her bones snap in his grip. Blood burst out of her mouth as she had bit her tongue so hard it bled. The metallic taste of blood filled her mouth, her scream mixed with cries.
