Not far from Varziel, general Thaluzar roared in triumph, as he crushed three enemies at once, beneath his massive hammer. His blue flames burned fiercely, leaving scorched trails in their wake. "They fall just like any demon!" He called out.
Varziel exhaled, taking in the battlefield. The tide of enemies had lessened, but the rift still remained open. More invaders were already emerging, falling from the sky to the ground, their numbers threatening to overwhelm their defenses.
Varziel thought and thought as quickly as he could, his mind running a mile a minute, trying to figure out a way he could close the rift. A way that he could ensure that the intruders were blocked out of his kingdom.
However, no matter how he thought, he could not think of any solution.
"I need a closer look." he muttered as he struck down another enemy.
