Five days later, and they both broke through. There wasn't a blinding light that shot into the sky, or a shockwave that ripped through the room. It was a simple thing—a click that barely resounded through the room.
But Atrox felt it. The quality of the essence around them changed immediately, and the two stiffened, a smile on their faces before they passed out.
